I placed an order and it was suppose to be done at 12:16pm. I arrived at 12:08pm so I was early which I understand I would need to wait to the expected time or even a bit longer would be ok. They did greet me and asked about my order and I said I arrived early so take your time. However I didn’t expect when I said take your time they would take another 20 mins plus. So around 12:30pm I was like is my order ready yet because as I waited there was at least 10 customers that placed their orders as walk in and all walked out before my order when done. A lady came in I would say around 12:20pm ordered and saw me waiting and said, boy you been here for awhile. I stated yeah. So when I did ask the a lady in a red shirt was like well you arrived early so I was like yes and I wait patiently and I see customers coming and going. I stated that I arrived early but the order was placed online and was suppose to be ready by 12:16pm. It’s now 12:30pm. She gave an attitude. She’s like well you don’t want your food raw right. Said I been here for some time now and people came ordered and left. She ignored me and turned her back to me. After they threw my sandwiches in a bag and another guy came by and decided to throw and I mean throw some paper coupons in my bag and then didn’t even say anything and they throw the bag on the counter and said nothing, well I guess my sandwiches were finally done. Service was by far horrible. Will not be coming back. I did also spend...
Read moreI’ve never been to Jersey Mike’s before today. I honestly didn’t know it was on L.I. I first heard about them yesterday on fb when I saw the free hero coupon. Anyway, I went this evening and the line was lonnnnng. It was clear they had been giving away free sandwiches all day. They were working non-stop and it was BUSY. It was the end of the night and they were starting to run out of bread and a few other items. I must say all of the employees work well under pressure. You had ppl coming up to the front of the line pretending they waited and people ungratefully complaining about not getting there in time to get a “free” sandwich (rude).
I asked the cashier if she could give me the names of the other employees. I just wanted to mention how patient they were. I mean they were back there workin’ ok? So thanks to you all for a job well done. It’s not that often I experience positive attitudes and amazing customer service. Jordan, Brianna, Jen, Brian, Marqus and Tori...Thanks, You all were very kind. ☺️
I watched everything and I’m impressed with the customer service! I think it was a brave and great idea to run this promotion. It gave people like me a chance to see what Jersey Mike’s is all about. I wasn’t a customer before,...
Read moreAs a loyal Jersey Mike’s fan, I’ve dined at enough locations to know the magic of a properly made #7. Unfortunately, the Commack location seems to be running its own comedy show every time I order.
I go once a week (because I work nearby and apparently enjoy disappointment on my lunch break), and somehow my same exact order is always a surprise. Each and every time, the bread is so stale it could double as a doorstop. Sometimes I get one lonely slice of turkey in what should be a hearty sandwich. Sometimes the mayo goes missing entirely, as if it was never part of the recipe. And let’s not forget the chip roulette — will I get the ones I ordered, or will I be gifted with a bag I didn’t know I never wanted?
At this point, I’ve accepted it’s less of a sub shop and more of a mystery box experience. Each time I unwrap my sandwich, I giggle a little at what they’ll have messed up this time, while my heart simultaneously breaks just a little more.
That being said, it’s still Jersey Mike’s, and even when they botch the order, it’s edible. So, three stars: points for keeping me fed and entertained, but please, Commack team, let’s tighten it up. I’d love to laugh because your sandwich is delicious, not because...
