McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

I'm a regular customer at this location because I own a business not too far away. On one of my visits at the drive thru, the person at the window was very rude to me. When I pulled up to the window I proceeded to bring to his attention how rude he was. He argued with me, the manager on duty had to step in. The manager apologized and rectified the issue.... I thought. The following evening I pulled up to the drive thru, the same person was on duty. He collected my payment for my order, handed me my change, didn't utter a word of thank you.....proceeds to walk away without handing me my order, and began working on another task. Another associate came over and handed me my food after a few minutes. A couple days later I went back and was approached by another manager who apologized and gave me a complimentary meal. I was appreciative. However as I continue to go back to this location and am still subjected to the disrespect from this same employee. I pulled up earlier today to pay for my order while he was at the window. I began to hand him my money to pay for my order, he looks at me, closes the window and walks away!!!!!!! I could not believe my eyes. This incident happened over a month ago. I do not expect to pull up at the drive thru window and have to wonder how am I gonna be treated today. The managers have not taken responsibility for this employees actions, and I refuse to continue to spend my money at a place where an employee is not able to act in a professional manner. This place needs a management and staff overhaul. I've been here 3 times in the past 3 months, alone and with others, and not a single time has the order been correct. I've used the app 2 out of the 3 times, so I know they received the order correctly. Either they gave me the incorrect number of items, the incorrect items, or the entire incorrect order. 2 of those 3 times they took over 15 min to make 1 single cheeseburger and a fry, that I left the drive thru and walked inside. When I asked for the managers name after I showed her the order was incorrect, she wouldn't tell me her name.

Overall, the location is easy to access and see while driving. It's relatively clean. The food is standard McDonald's food, nothing better or worse when made correctly. Ultimately, I was told that the staff who made the order didn't speak English and had trouble reading. Maybe those who prepare the food should be able to read the order. Then again, that's just my opinion.

Easy to correct the order if you dine-in, but not if you're in a rush or in the drive thru.

Update 1 year later: I have increased my star rating across the board for overall, food, service, and atmosphere. It seems like they've made a significant change to their procedures as orders have been correct and have come through the drive-through quickly.

Doordash delivered The Grandma Mcflurry and Iced Coffee Mocha and the Fudge soft serve. Both sundaes had holes on lids, no seals and were" not sanitary" to have no seals on holes , exposed to germs, cross contamination, covid, employees germs etc. If you don't mind soft serve ice cream that is not real soft serve, and has a guar gum or other gums/carrageenan taste , that makes it a chewy thick type ice cream , then you will like this. If your lactose intolerant, this is not lactose free, and could cause bad severe stomach pains and bad fullness and bloatedness, like it did for me( for long hours). For people who are not lactose, they will be ok. This is artificial ingredients though and not healthy for kids or adults. It is not natural or organic. It has artificial butterscotch sauce and a caramel swirl, mixed with their version of soft serve ice cream in vanilla ( not like Carvel)and a good amount of toasted almond crunchies and the butterscotch sauce. The crunchies taste just like the Good Humor Ice Cream Toasted Almond Bar (Crunchies on the outside of bar). They took the Crunchies and made them bigger in size and put them in what they call a Mcflurry. McDonald's is not in the business of healthy but making people very fat with weight on the heart and weight on kids. I don't normally eat at McDonald's and try to stay away from fast food.
