Look, I’ve been to many Persian restaurants and this was by far the rudest experience I have ever had. We first drove by and saw that they had a $21 and $23 price for kebab one for lunch and one for dinner. When we get into the place they want to charge us $25 for the kebab. When we asked why the price is different no, they were saying that the price on the window is for lunch and dinner only during the week, but on the weekend it’s always the dinner price. However, even the dinner price on the window was less expensive than what the menu says. After several discussions with the server, we asked to speak with the manager to clarify.
The manager came immediately with an attitude. His first question to us was “what’s your problem?” I was very respectful, and said that his menu price didn’t match what it says on the window. He responded that the price on the window is not the price for dinner on the weekends and that it’s a different price, then he said no wait, it’s actually the price for takeout only. I explained to him that nothing on the menu the window or anywhere else says anything about lunch or dinner on the weekends versus the weekdays or for takeout, and then he should honor the price that’s on the window. His response to this was absolutely unbelievable, he said “none of our customers have ever complained about our prices.” Am I not a customer? Am I not complaining? Is my complaint not valid? Should every business advertise a price and then charge the customer more once they order inside of the restaurant? And as a manager, instead of being welcoming, accommodating, understanding for a very valid concern, why on Earth would you choose to approach with an attitude toward your customers instead of taking care of them!?!? This is horrible business practice, this is horrible customer service, this is misleading and price gouging, and I hope that they take this seriously and they improve themselves. We left, and we didn’t even eat the food. And I suggest the same anybody else who has a similar experience...
Read moreI am a routine customer so I am very upset at the service I received. It is Ramadan so I will refrain in being rude, despite being treated poorly today. I had a very terrible experience tonight. I was not being given a table because my party was small and only for two. The hostess kept saying the tables are for larger parties that are arriving, key word arriving as in not arrived or waiting. The manager who didn’t understand I fasted all day, continued to have us wait over thirty minutes saying I need to be calm and should have made a reservation. When I asked to speak to the owner he said he doesn’t have the phone number. I feel like I was greatly disappointed at this restaurant and degraded today by this manager. He spoke about me to his hostess in Spanish, I said I could understand and he continued saying he doesn’t care. I understand if you’re unable to accommodate walk in’s and reservations but generalize the rule. You can’t be putting people to a table who had 645 reservations who show up late at 710 first before people with no reservations who have been waiting since 645. There was no phone near the hostess so I don’t understand how she also said these people were calling to tell her they were running late. Anyways, I digress. But very disappointed by the general manager who was rude to me and degraded me. Whoever the owner is, please look at hiring better management. Will not be dining here anymore and will advise family and friends not to visit anymore. Was disrespected and wasn’t even apologized by manager who blatantly was trying to argue instead of fix...
Read moreI really enjoyed this place. I went on 11/5 with my two friends. I ordered the chicken koobideh kebab which was two large pieces of chicken kebab spiced with saffron with a side of rice and vegetables. I absolutely loved the chicken.. great spice all the way through the meat, not just on top. And it was so soft you could use the side of the fork if you wanted. The vegetables were a a grilled onion and grilled tomato which I loved; simple but classic and delicious. My only critique would be the rice.. we were there on a Tuesday night and my friends and I all agreed it tasted a bit dried out and like it had been sitting ( which i’m sure it was as it was a slow tuesday night.. almost can’t take away points for this..). The only thing I didn’t love was the wait staff. One waiter asked me to move my things out of the way to put down my plate and after ordering, our waitress didn’t check on how the food was or ask if we needed anything. It seems to be a lot of younger people working there that don’t care so much about providing good service. Overall I would go back for the very very...
