Worst experience ever. We have been to this restaraunt many times in the past but haven’t in the last year or two. It has seriously gone downhill. We are a young couple with children 10 and 7 years old. We came at 5:30 on a Friday nigh, before any crowds to grab burgers for our family night out. First off, the atmosphere was way too dark and the fan was fierce above where we were sitting. I asked if it could be turned off as the doors to the restaurant were open as well but a server said that she wasn’t able to. We ordered 2 beers, both came 15 minutes later; one flat and the other tasted weird. No check back from server. We ordered 3 burgers and a macaroni and cheese. We heard the cook ring the bell when our order was up but the server didn’t go to it; another ring later, no response from the server. My hold out was 10 minutes and now it was time to tell the server that our food was waiting in the window and was nervous it was going to be cold. He brings us the macaroni and cheese and 1 burger and said, I didn’t punch in the other burger, what did you order again? He didn’t even apologize!! No affect, no worries, no care. So there I was with our incomplete order - cold from just sitting there all that time: We told him the order he missed and had to wait another 20 minutes so the rest of my family could eat. Our family night out turned sour fast. The lack of care, respect, is unimaginable in the service industry. By the time my husband’s burger came out, it was rushed and I’ve never seen so much jam on a burger bun before; absolutely disgusting. Spending over $100 for sub par quality food and absolutely disrespectful service is not ok to me. It is hard for us these days to take the family out for dinner and this experience was absolutely terrible. We waited for the server to tend to us and give us the bill which he didn’t; he totally ignored our table the rest of the evening after he messed up. We had to ask for the bill and the server just dropped it on our table, saying absolutely nothing. It was a disjointed and ruined evening....
Read moreTop notch food & drink, killer ambiance and attentive service -- this place nailed it. I've been a few times, sometimes for food, sometimes for drinks, and sometimes just for drinks, shortly realizing I can't resist ordering their delicious food. Always with a group of great people...whether we planned to meet up, or just end up in an undeniable top-of-the-charts Huntington restaurant at the same time.
I've enjoyed my time here whether as the designated driver or the designated drinker. Why, you ask? They have my favorite designated driver drink --cold brew coffee...and my favorite designated drinker drink --prosecco...wait for it...BOTH ON TAP. Wild. Awesome. And delicious.
Late night menu is a rare find in Huntington if you're in the mood for anything other than Pizza (I see you, Rosas, I'm not hating, just saying...). This one kills the game. Burgers...fries...PROSECCO ON TAP. Still not over it.
The space is amazing - very well thought out and nicely designed...the outdoor seating is incredible when the weather is right. The staff is friendly, attentive and very obviously happy to be there doing what they do. That's uncommon in the business...I'm allowed to say that as a former, eventually jaded server. You won't find bad attitudes or grimaces here. Not to mention the owners. They're somewhat easy to spot because they're checking in with guests experiences and they're present - hanging around the bar, overseeing, being really, really good at what they do.
This place is worth the wait you'll most certainly find on a busy weekend night. Put your name on the list and grab a cold brew coffee, a prosecco, one of their bangin' fancy cocktails (ahem...the old fashioned), or a draft off of their extensive craft beer list. You won't be...
Read moreThis place looked cool. I go to New Wave all the time and so we wanted to try something new. The service was horrible. We seat in doors and the waiter slams the cups and water on the table with no words and walks away. Doesn't say hello, Doesn't ask us if we want a drink or how we're doing(now mind you this place wasn't packed and they had 3ppl waiting on customers). Finally they come ask what we'd like to drink. I asked about an agava drink and they said it was sweet, it was NOT it was spicy and bitter. I asked the waiter for a coca cola and as I begin to explain why and how the drink isn't good. They walk away and ignored me speaking, couldn't give me the time of day but had all the time to talk to the the other waitresses. The only thing good was the pretzel...The food wasn't good. I got some vegan Nashville sandwiche. It had dry coleslaw with two big pieces covered with some kind of hot sauce. There was no flavor just feels like your eating hot sauce. The drink he recommended was not sweet like I asked, it was spicy and bitter. Not once did they ask how my food was, they saw my plate and drink wasn't touched, never asked me if something was wrong, if I wanted it wrapped to go, nothing..... service was horrible, will never go back they again! Truffle fries were mediocre, seasoning was weak. It looks cool but not worth the price. Spending $80 on food and you can't even offer me to take my plate to go, or ask me how my food was? Plus my friend I went with that did eat got sick from what...
