Umami Japanese Cuisine — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

I come here at least once a week for a reason, the sushi here is phenomenal. I usually give a full breakdown in my reviews however it is not needed here because I cannot find one bad thing to say about this spot. Food is to die for other than just the sushi, their kitchen is wonderful. Service is run by two of the sweetest people in the world and the chef here really knows what he’s doing. Wait staff is extremely good with kids, quick and patient.

Easily the best Japanese restaurant my wife and I've visited on Long Island. The chef is creative with his dishes, and his ideas are delicious. The sashimi is fresh, and the sushi is often finished with surprising touches that pays off. For example, try the uni. It comes with a dash of toro on top, as well as a hit of heat. Fun on the taste buds, and a joy to try out. I've tried both their lunch and dinner services. I really like their oysters, as well. We LOVE this place! The staff is always amazing, the food is also incredible! We have never had a bad experience with them. We order a lot of take out from them but we do go out to eat there also once in a while. The woman who wait the tables and do the front end work are always so polite and friendly, they really do everything to make you feel welcome there.
