TOA Asian Fusion (Melville Route 110) — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Im a first timer at this restaurant and I simply have to say. WOW!

The location is perfect with parking and easy access. formal yet informal. Professional & kind staff with attentiveness. Greeted and seated right away. I did not feel rushed or left unattended at any point. The design and setting of the dining area is extremely comforting. Just really felt the vibe. As I viewed around the dining area I noticed it is set up for all party sizes, families , couples , singles. Just a great Ambiance!

The menu has a very diverse selection and range of style of meals. As you navigate through the pages you can easily struggle on what too order! Lol ( I admit it took me quite a while to choose.)

Everything- from the vegetable dumplings not over or under steamed. Just right 👌🏻 . I thought the grilled ribs were boneless, however once they came out I went to use a fork and the meat tenderly came off completely with one pull of the fork! Grilled is exactly how it came out and more importantly with flavor and not over chard.

The rock shrimp tempura!! Wow! Cooked crispy and the miso dressing and spicy Mayo gives it that hint of a flavored punch just right! - try it!!!!

The roasted duck was excellent and done the right way, flavorful and medium inside for its natural texture and a slight roasted skin layer! Uff thinking about it makes me want to go back!

The golden dragon roll was balance and made with just the right portions of ingredients! The combination in this roll really is zen and will leave you stuffed!!! Excellent portions.

Overall amazing experience and I’m kind of looking for an excuse to come back with a large party for them to try. I noticed this is one of the newer locations but they have several on the island!!

1000% recommendation and I’m sure I’ll be back within a month with a crowd 😆. Check out the menu online so diverse!

My husband and I decided to treat my Mom to dinner as we wanted a change from the delicious home cooked meals that she has been cooking for us - although she would have preferred staying at home, she was pleasantly surprised as to how much she enjoyed the evening out!

Since we were treating Mom and she is a vegetarian - we started off with the Spicy Thai Lemongrass Soup + Pan Fried Veg Dumplings + Veg Roll Platter from the Sushi Bar. She really enjoyed the Sushi experience and the Soup the most !!

For the main course we ordered the Sauteed Broccoli with Chicken and the Veg Thai Red Curry Casserole .. we ate every morsel - and relished every bite the food was that delicious!

Since we had a late big lunch and were not hungry when we walked into the restaurant at 7:30pm, for us to have enjoyed every bite should say it all!

We ended the meal journey with the Lava Cake ... Thank you Lord!!

Things I want to point out about our experience... The gentleman who took our order was very informative about suggesting items as we asked for his opinion re. the Veg options. Also, we asked him if the food we ordered was enough - he wasn't very pushy about ordering more stuff - he said "If you need you can always order more!" my husband appreciated his attitude a lot !! Although we visited at 7:30pm on a Saturday evening - they were not that busy - i was able to make the reservation for 3 very easily - if you and your family are looking for a quite place with delicious food - this one definitely...

The food was delicious, however, service needs a LOT of work. Giving it one star based on food, other than that i will not be returning. Came here with a party of 4 on a saturday night, felt we were very rushed, the waiter tried to physically RIP the drink menu out of my hand several times as i was picking a drink. He also knew nothing about what ingredients were IN the food, and several of my dinning companions had allergies including myself, which was NOT followed. Luckily my allergies werent life threatening but for one item we asked if there were any allergens on it and he said NO, then when it was received we saw it had the allergen on it. When we ask for the food to be made brand new with out the allergy item, instead of making it brand new we SAW him PICKING off the allergen!! (What if someone was allergic to peanuts and they picked them off!! The whole item would still be tainted with it, and cause an allergic reaction). Luckily my friend saw this and she canceled the whole item. Then we got our bill and the item we cancelled was still on it, and we were also double charged for another item. So we asked him to fix the bill, and before he even fixed it, AGAIN he tried to RIP the credit card out of my hand. Obviously i was not going to give him the card until the bill was fixed. They definitely need to work on their customer service BIG TIME. It is a shame though because the food was good, another review said it was good for take out, and that is...
