The workers at this Starbucks are so rude. I ordered an iced matcha latte with cold foam and when they told me they ran out of cold foam. When I asked for a refund on the cold foam she rolled her eyes and her coworker told her to just make it for me. I was confused because she told me they ran out. When they gave me the drink I tasted it and it was whipped cream on top. Cold foam and whipped cream have a different consistency and taste so I knew. I went back inside and asked a coworker for a spoon to take off the whipped cream kindly. She took my drink and then whispered to the lady that made my drink and said āsheās saying itās whipped creamā talking as if they got caught. The worker that made my drink came over to me and said āthis is cold foam and not whipped cream.ā My friend said I saw you use the whipped cream can and make the swirl and she said that how we make it and it comes out differently every time. I have had cold foam at the Starbucks in my town multiple times and it has never tasted or been made like that. The worker tried to gaslight me and tell me itās whipped cream all over a $1 refund. If they said it would take a while I would have said to keep the dollar for a tip but thereās no way she is getting a tip now. No worker should ever lie to their customer about what is going into their drink. What if I couldnāt have whipped cream and had an allergic reaction. This was a ridiculous situation and I will never go back to this Starbucks again! Many people have had similar occurrences to me so it is not okay that this keeps happening. Starbucks, get better workers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo today I went to the Starbucks within the Macy's store at Bay Shore NY Westfield Mall. Much to my surprise they moved their shop further into the department store, as it use to be by the South entrance. It's now a tiny little booth style set up. I ordered my usual Mocha frappuccino size Venti with two shots of espresso Afrigato style (on-top) with whip cream. I almost fell over when the girl working the cash register told me it was $10.05. I said what? That must be a mistake. She said no that's the price. Our prices are higher than the franchise stand alone stores because we are located within a Macy's department store. I told her I come here often and NEVER have I ever paid that price! I said I must be paying for your store to have moved further into the department store because this makes no sense to me. Well I finally succumbed to the price and she had two other girls working this little booth neither of which knew how to make the Mocha frappuccino. She had to verbally instruct her co-worker the recipe as she was ringing up other customers order's. I not only paid the $10.05 but waited 15min. for the drink to be made. Never again will I go to that Starbucks!! Unreal was my experience. Price gouging at it's best with no experience Barista's....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you cannot handle the timeline or stress of mobile order then please turn off the function at times of high volume. I have waited 30+ minutes for my drink on multiple occasions since this Starbucks opened and you can tell that everyone else waiting is equally annoyed. I genuinely feel bad for the employees because they are so understaffed and newer so clearly struggling to keep up with the demand.
I learned of this Starbucks opening from a sign in the North Babylon Deer Park Ave Starbucks about a month ago... leads me to believe that the owners are the same. If this is the case you should think about transferring some of the staff from the N Babylon location over to the BayShore one. I have been going to the N Babylon one for years and they are always timely, organized and quick. Just a suggestion because the difference between the two in terms of service is dramatic and I feel bad for those working in...
