Malta Wine & Liquor is awesome. The owner Mike is the most honest, fairest liquor store owner I believe anywhere. I will tell you why. I was in the shop about 3 months ago and I was puzzled why about the pricing on Black Velvet blended whiskey 1.75 liter pricing. The 3 year standard whiskey was $21.00 while the 8 year old version was $20.00. I asked Mike, And he said that I get a really good deal on the 8-year-old whiskey if I buy nine bottles or cases, I'm not I don't remember, I have to buy like a thousand bottles of the 3-year-old standard black velvet whiskey to get a good price. Read moreI'm not sure if it was the owner, but a gentleman named Mike was quick-tempered and rude. A simple question of 'do you have __' was met with a level of impatience that I haven't seen professionally. How this store has been here for - what I've been told - quite some time, is beyond me.
The stock is tired and has nothing that isn't seen at any average store. It must be the location.
I hope someone fires the clerk...
