We celebrated Christmas Eve at Nonna’s, and the experience was absolutely delightful! From the moment we walked in, the festive decorations and warm, inviting ambiance, set the perfect tone for the holiday. The restaurant was packed across two floors, yet the atmosphere remained cozy and cheerful, with twinkling lights and holiday spirit all around. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff was incredible. They were friendly, efficient, and maintained a professional demeanor throughout the night. Our drinks and food arrived right on time, and we never had to wait for water refills or for our table to be cleared. The seamless service really stood out, and it was clear that the entire team worked hard to ensure every guest had a wonderful experience. As for the food, Nonna’s truly delivered. Went to this restaurant a while back .beautiful setting , up to COVID code. Seated immediately . Waiter was attentive. However, our meal feel short. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan and I the pappardelle with bolognese. Here is where things got dicey .On my husbands plate lay a rather sad lonely chicken parm. No sides or for that matter extra sauce for scooping up with the interesting 5 slices of bread . It was an over priced piece of meat with no flavor to even suggest it came from some Provence of ITALY. And no attempt to make the plating somewhat appeasing to the eye. My pappardella somewhat filled my plate but lacked flavor. The bolognese was ground meat , THAT IT ! no season not a sliver of garlic. It felt like an after thought . This being one of the best dishes according to ,what I gathered was head waiter or manager . We ordered wine by the glass and skipped desert, we didn’t want to press our luck .Unfortunatley not , making it a point to return until seasoning is made...
