Village Luncheonette — Restaurant in Town of Mamaroneck

I went the cafe today to take out breakfast for my mother and I. I had the pancake breakfast special and my mom had the 2 eggs special. The waitress was friendly when I was in the cafe. However when I got home and started cutting into my food there was a huge fly cooked into the pancake. I called the cafe right away and explained the situation to them. The waitress offered to make me a new meal but after seeing that there was no way we wanted anything else. I told the waitress that I just wanted my money back and she agreed. My mother took the food back within the hour. But the waitress refused to give us a full refund because we forgot to bring back the coffee that came with the meal. The cafe was clearly in the wrong and they treated us like we were the bad people. I will never go back to the cafe and I will let everyone know of my experience with this cafe. I wish I could...

Very homey feel here. Service was fast from the woman at the front who tended to multiple people. The value was excellent for breakfast, where I ordered from one of their deals.
