MAKE SURE TO NEVER LOOSE ANY THING AT THIS THEATER. Especially a WALLET.We were in a last showing, last people to walk out, sent email that night sent email in the morning, husband went before opening just one cleaning lady, of course she would not open door, go in when theater just opened the manager was like oh yeah sorry cleaning person found nothing. I just looked at him and said we left it here and you have had no people in here yet. he then said ok let’s go look . So we go look he finds nothing , I take an extra bend on my knees there it was sitting pretty all the way back on the floor. Opened it up, empty as can be ! my husband loves to carry lots of money always. So this cleaning person got an extra pay. I am sorry, this should not have happed I understand people (patron)are unpredictable but, workers should have ethics to show they are responsible people. Hand it to your manager , show some real work knowledge and how to behave when you find something. Wallet was left with Credit card but cash gone. It was really clear to us that management was not looking out for us and it did not matter. So when you are comfy cozy in that chair make sure your wallet is zipped in place,...
Read moreThis is a beautiful, well-kept theatre, with polite staff, easy ticket buying, and they usually have a good selection of movies with multiple showing times. I just internally cringe any time there are kids or teenagers in this movie theatre, because the kids in this town seem to be particularly unhinged. They always walk in and out, talk loudly, stand during the film (???), converse, play with the electronic buttons on the seats, literally play TikToks on their phones as the movie is playing. This has happened to me more than five times at this theater, in movies that are not even particularly geared towards children. I love kids & teens, and I have watched movies at many other theatres in Westchester and the city, but I have never had experiences with kids acting this way. I have no idea what is up with the kids that go to this theatre, and what the staff can do about it (maybe ushers checking in during the film?) but it has made me avoid going here if I think the film is showing at a time or day where there will be kids attending. If you do not want to be disturbed in this way, I recommend going here Monday-Thursday during the school year, definitely not...
Read moreWhat a beautiful rustic theatre. I’m a Queens girl so I wasn’t use to going out of NYC to go to the movies. This theatre actually reminded me of Cinemart Cinemas in Forest Hills Queens, vintage feel to it but with better renovations and a lot bigger! I loved the customer service, they served beer and wine which is a plus! Their cashiers were kind and helpful. The bathroom was super clean and there were signs everywhere so it wasnt hard to get lost if you’ve never been there before. The seats wow! The best reclined seats I’ve ever sat in my life! They felt better than the seats in an IPIC theatre! The sound and the 4k screen was also great to watch and hear. Pretty area especially when you’re a city girl and you see a river behind the movie theatre you’re going to lol! I can’t wait to go back and actually walk down the strip and...
