Tony's Pizzeria & Deli- Commercial Dr. — Restaurant in Town of New Hartford

I'm a semi regular here, most the time the pizza is good, but they're inconsistent. But recently I had ordered a breakfast pizza and let me tell you, American cheese. I don't know who suggested and thought it was a good idea to put American on ANY PIZZA EVER, but anyone involved in the decision to add this travesty to pizza should never ever be near food service. Ny is known for good pizza and this is unacceptable by our standards (or really anyone's) it was 22 dollars and american burns at a lower temp so either the cheese will be black or everything else is undercooked. I reviewed on their site and they only post the flattering reviews for individual items. Also, when you bring in a coupon that says $30 for two items they don't actually charge the advertised coupon price but instead I had to wait for 3 extra minutes for them to refer to the book and calculate that it was actually just $4.50 off the price.

Food was mostly good, but service was an issue. The website touted curbside service, and I planned to pick up my $75 order curbside. When I pulled up at the time my order was supposed to be ready, at 8:24, I clicked on the text link, pressed the big blue "I'm here" button, and was then told the staff was successfully alerted that I was there. At 8:37, I went into the restaurant, and they said they had no call. So my food was getting cold while I was waiting out at curbside. And my order was to include three orders of fries dough. I received one, and it was horrible, because it had sat for all that time in a styrofoam container. I ordered a slice of pizza and a order of chicken riggies. It was a simple order one I regret but simple none the less. I was asked if I wanted the slice warmed because it obviously wasn't fresh out of the oven and I replied yes please. Five minutes later I was giving a semi cold not even room temperature slice in which was completely disgusting .About 2 mins later I was giving my order of chicken riggies which were slightly warmer then my slice .The riggies were not much better than the slice.
