Kennedy fried Chicken — Restaurant in Town of New Windsor

So, I’ve heard a lot about this place and people rave about how great the food is from here. I can’t really rate the chicken, as I haven’t tried it yet after I ordered two beef patties from here. I also asked for them with cheese. The patties were beyond old and burnt, with the exterior showing clear burnt signs and beyond crunchy. I’m assuming they’ve been sitting for a while and rather than make us FRESH patties, they reheated these and gave us trash. It was not only barely edible and probably one of the worst beef patties I’ve ever had (As far as Kennedys go). It also gave me TERRIBLE heartburn. Maybe since I came later in the night, they gave me whatever they had and took the lazy way out. Still, that’s no excuse to give me anything less than what I paid for. More so, why serve me something in a state that YOU wouldn’t eat it in? I haven’t came back since, nor do I plan on it. Nasty dry bland unseasoned chicken. If you are really hungry try to buy chicken when they just open, you may be lucky and get quick meal that is actually worth your time. If its 10pm at night I guarantee they will sell chicken they have had in the display window since 8pm. They refry it in the oil so it burnt beyond consumption and sell it to you. This happened to us on multiple occasion.Tonight 8/30/2025 @ 10:20pm I called before to ask for fresh chicken, then man laughed and yes. He still sold my kid stale refried chicken. When this place first opened-the location is in NEW WINDSOR -NEXT TO BLEND AND PIZZA HEAVEN.As the owner falsely claimed I had the wrong location.-- they made the effort to have fresh cooked food with great taste and now after a year or whatever time this place have been open the food is lousey.i bought a 3 piece chicken box.The chicken was stale.i went the next day to tell them about my experience and the person was totally unfazed and did absolutely nothing to make the situation right.If this business don't like bad reviews,make sure you sell food that is edible.I will never buy anything from this restaurant.buyer beware eat at...
