Five Guys — Restaurant in Town of Newburgh

I was told Five Guys has great cheeseburgers so I checked it out. I was so disappointed. The cashier was polite and prompt. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a soda. The food took almost 10 minutes to be prepared which was really a surprise considering there were 10 people working in the kitchen with 3 designated to preparing the cheeseburgers and hamburgers. The food was hot when served but somehow the cheese wasn't melted. It was American cheese and tastes highly processed. I ordered it with mayo, lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mustard. Somehow it had no flavor. It was like eating a bland bun and bland meat patty with nasty tasting cheese. Though I was really hungry, I didn't finish eating it. The fries were so greasey and overly salted. Wow, they were greasey. So much grease each fry was completely limp. I barely ate half the fries. The food was just so bad, I just changed the food from 2 stars to one. The cheeseburger was $10.95 and the fries were $6.95! I really wanted to like this place. I won't go back. The local diner's and Burger King's food...

YOU ALL BETTER START CHECKING YOUR FOOD BECAUSE APPARENTLY THIS IS THE “New” norm I went to the location on route 300 in Newburgh ny and ended up with hair in my food TWICE in one day . 1st time it happed was on my lunch break drove there grabbed my burger to go and I ate half of it revealing a long black hair !!! I called in expressed my concern and was offered a refund or another meal I went in after work and had them remake the order I figured I really wanted that burger, I’m a regular and it’s a simple mistake , NOPE I was wrong I received my order went home and prior to even taking a bite I opened up the burger to you guessed it … another hair makes you wonder how many...

The lady with short height and glasses was very disrespectful. She was polite at first when she offered us a free sample. She then asked what we wanted to order so I asked for a minute considering it was our first time and she gave the most disgusting attitude. I did not come to an over priced fast food place just to be disrespected. I've worked in fast food and know how hard it is with certain customers, however there was no line, so her behavior was not acceptable. We were polite and smiled, but as we stood there we saw her judgemental glare. Isn't there a rule about hairnets? Saw none. All I know is if you don't care about customer service this place is...
