Adirondack Corner Store — Restaurant in Town of North Elba

Initially food seemed decent, but after discovering a hair, had to edit the review to one star. I will say staff was good to process a refund, but that issue coupled with a lesson needed lesson in customer service could help out some. Customer service lacked between phone etiquette and personally as a customer feeling rushed during the ordering and check out process isn’t a good feeling. We have vacationed as a family in Lake Placid for years and I have solo backpacked all over the immediate area. I've driven by this store easily dozens of times without giving it a second thought. Big mistake! My wife and I stopped in for lunch after reading a positive post in a hiking forum. This will be one of my top considerations for meals going ahead. Every time I go here the things I get are all expired!!! Not to mention overly priced. I’ve lived here 21 years & had multiple bad experiences with their food being out dated on the shelves.
