We wanted to like it. The setting overlooking the water is delightful and it's cute inside. But it has to be one of the worst restaurant experiences of our lives. We were seated...it was 20 minutes before someone returned. We received a mild apology and placed our drink order. The vodka peach spritz cocktail was undrinkable. After we told the waitress we didn't want a replacement, but we thought the juice in the drink might be bad she apologized again, and left the drink to stare at us for the remainder of the meal. We ordered the mushroom pasta with chicken and the fish fry. The pasta showed up without chicken. The waitress asked if she could 'bring the chicken on the side'. A bowl of what had to be previously frozen and reheated in the microwave chewy, mealy chicken showed up. Another 15 minutes lasped after receiving the check and immediately putting the card in to pay before they took it. The only bright spot was the fish and chips, the fish was decent the fries were great. They also took off the drink from the bill without us asking. Can't fathom coming back here again though. Sad about...

Great atmosphere on the lake. Service needs better training ( especially with summer crowds coming up , our waiter was new but the woman he was shadowing seemed a little scattered. Took 20 mins to get our beer and have our order taken. My husband ordered soup and cheese curds , wanting the soup first ( she asked twice) curds came out first but they were good, I asked to substitute a salad instead of frites and frites came out anyway ( plus the up charge for salad ) my filet was supposed to come with a peppercorn sauce and they forgot that so I had to ask for it . Wasn’t the best filet it was kind of stringy but tasted good and was tender for the most part . I think with more attention to details and better efficiency will make it a better experience. It was nice looking out over the...

Went to saranac lake for my son's eye appt. Didn't know where to eat so we just picked a place where they had a Mexican dish because he wanted tacos. He ended up getting the Chimichanga dish and I got the fish fry. All so amazingly delicious and everything was so hot and crispy. You get what you pay for. We ended up taking home half of our food because there was that much. The waiter that took care of us was so nice and polite and even struck up a conversation with us. We got a table by the doors that go out to their deck so we had a beautiful breath-taking view of the lake. It was a great first experience. My son mentioned about 5 times this place is his new favorite place to eat. We definitely will be going back when we're in the area...

The food was excellent, the staff friendly, the music superb, the view majestic. I was eating solo this evening while the business of high school students and chaperones were canoeing. I had a light meal of the bruschetta appetizer and a dessert of the crepe cake, both of which I highly recommend and were exactly what I needed. The service wasn't necessarily quick, but I enjoyed the music (classic rock) and the beautiful, cool evening right beside the lake at sunset. What a great atmosphere... I didn't mind the wait. The server kept my water full and the manager (owner?) stopped by to check on me. Friendly staff. I'd definitely recommend, especially if you're operating at a leisurely pace.
