I never write reviews and this place deserves a BAD review tonight.
All two stars go to the grounds and the decor otherwise the rest doesn’t get anything. Food was horrible, the service was worse- overall experience was BAD…. Would tell anyone looking for event space to stay away from this place (unless they bring their own caterer)
Food was over cooked (skirt steak at cocktail hour especially- for $20/lb retail they destroyed the meat- it probably sat in the steamer all day and dropped on customer plates) - eggplant parm was too salty - what chef puts pasta in every station for cocktail hour? - calamari rubbery- salads were dry with barely any dressing (who eats dry leaves on a plate wrapped in cucumber?)- penne ala vodka was good and I’m glad I got it as it was the only thing I ate- but then again it’s just boiled pasta with jarred sauce. - salmon entree (
Read moreLet me begin by saying that the Inn at NHP took a vision and made it a reality. We have been receiving phone calls all day non stop complimenting us about our wedding. Me and my wife felt like we were floating on cloud nine after our incredible wedding at Inn at NHP.
From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of magical, and it was all thanks to the amazing team at the Inn. Our first contact with the Inn - Anna. Scheduled everything for us and made us feel so comfortable with booking our event at this venue (in such a short amount of time). Anna was so polite and made sure she notated everything we wanted for our special day.
We have to give a huge shoutout to our event planner - Julia! Julia went above and beyond in every aspect. Her attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills took our vision and brought it to life flawlessly and even perfected areas that we couldn’t even imagine. From coordinating with vendors to ensuring everything ran smoothly, Julia was truly a calming presence throughout the planning process and on the big day. Julia was patient, polite, and made us feel so comfortable. Without Julia, we don’t know what we would’ve done. She is truly an expert in this field and we can’t thank her enough! You rock!
Our maitre d’, JC, was a class act! He ensured everything flowed seamlessly, attending to every detail with such care and professionalism. His experience shined through as he expertly guided us through the day, making sure we were where we needed to be while also keeping our guests comfortable and happy. JC coordinated perfectly with everyone involved to make sure any last minute changes were executed to perfection.
The bridal attendants, Gina and Courtney were phenomenal! They treated us like royalty, ensuring we had everything we needed and pampered my wife the whole day - from the moment she stepped foot on the grounds. Their kindness and support were invaluable, and they helped keep the mood light, even when nerves were running high!
The bartending team, led by the amazing Miss Lisa were fantastic! They mixed up the best cocktails and kept the drinks flowing all evening. Our guests were all impressed by both the drink selection and the bartenders' friendly personalities. They effortlessly created a fun and festive atmosphere that everyone loved!
To the Management staff, chefs, Maintence crew and grounds keepers - everything was truly stunning. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect, and the food was top quality —so many of our guests raved how delicious everything was! A special shout out has to also be given to Steven for helping us pack and store all of our props used for the night.
Their security team was also top notch, and made sure everything went according to plan. This was an aspect of our event that we didn’t even consider at first but are so grateful for their professionalism and integrity.
We cannot thank Julia and the entire staff at the Inn at NHP enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

Read moreNo words can describe this experience other than amazing. From the start, we were treated with such respect and kindness. When we toured the venue with Felicia, we were amazed by how big and beautiful it was. More than that, it was also very handicapped accessible, which mattered a lot to us given that my husband's grandmother has a walker and we didn't want her to feel left out or restricted by the venue. We loved the gardens for our ceremony, the Tuscany room for our cocktail hour and the Georgian ballroom for our reception.
It was such a blessing to have an event coordinator that we could ask anything of as we went through the process. We started off with Jennifer, who was very helpful up until she left the Inn. Even then, she communicated it clearly to all of the couples she was working with. We moved to working with Olivia up until the day of our event and she was FANTASTIC. Olivia is so sweet and so helpful - no matter how many emails I sent and no matter what time I sent them at, she always responded in a timely manner and reassured me. From coordinating our menu to our drop-off appointment, she was timely and a joy to work with.
However, what was most important to us was being able to work with a venue that took care of my husband's severe allergies to both dairy & nuts, which proved to be a challenge for other venues that we had toured. This was literally written into our contract so that everyone would be aware of the restrictions. I was nervous about this, but at every turn - from cake tasting with Giancarlo (who was a DREAM to work with and helped make our amazing nut-free, dairy-free wedding cake a reality) to our food tasting in the Table 7 restaurant - we had NO allergy issues. This was such an immense relief and took so much off our minds the day of the wedding. The bridal suite was dairy and nut free, as were all of the cocktail hour & reception meals that we were personally served. I could not have asked for better care in regards to my husband's allergies. It was one of the first times he could eat cake at any function!
As for our day of, we could not have pulled it off without our amazing Maitre D and two bridal attendants. Barbara, Keila and Kerry were FANTASTIC. They kept us all moving and made sure that my husband & I were happy, fed and hydrated. I don't know how I would have made it into my dress without Kerry - no one else knew how to tie my corset! She also had extra tape to keep my dress up when it mattered. While I initially doubted the need for two bridal attendants, my husband and I both agreed that they were the real MVP's of the night as they never, ever left our side - even as we left the venue!
Overall, could not have had a more beautiful and happy wedding. By signing with the Inn, we didn't have to worry about the venue, the food & drink or the wedding cake. So glad that we went with the Inn and their...
