Not sure how an order for Roast Beef Sandwich Chili and Soda can be confused with an order for Bonless Wings and Soda. To top it all off, a patron chases myself and my friends out the door after hearing us talking about the money split because bill kept coming back wrong so instead of watching the bartender get more irate with us we just split the costs up between us. The lady thought we were being rude and called us a ton of names and even started swearing and shouting outside. When the Bartender and the Patron are both shouting at my group to not come back how can you give this place a good review? We didn't make the mistake of billing us wrong 3 times. you did. SO don't yell at us not to come back. 4/4/2019 around 12:30-1:00

P.S. Bartender shouldn't sit there talking about how dumb and stupid the owner of the place is and cheap they are behind his back in front...

My dad and I were looking for a place to eat after a long day and we decided to stop into cooleys. When we first walked in there was no AC and there was a weird smell throughout the whole bar. The bar looked really cool and the set up was great. However the bartender that we had was one of the worst servers we have ever seen. Before we even sat down she opened the beer bottle with her shirt and not with a bottle opener, coughed and sneezed into her hand without washing her hands and then proceeded to eat a bag of chips behind the bar where we could clearly see her licking her fingers after each bite. After not even a full minute in the bar we quickly decided we were leaving to go to another restaurant for the night. This bar feels like it could have been worth our time but with the experience we had within 5 seconds with the bartender we decided Copley’s was...

Do NOT get the nachos!

Came in with 4 friends, ordered a few beers, 3 burgers, a chicken sandwich, 20 wings, and a plate of loaded nachos. The burgers were great! Cooked perfectly and the brioche buns were delicious. The chicken sandwich was also delicious.

For the wings we tried the garlic sauce and the Cooley’s sauce. Both were spot on and the wings themselves were cooked perfectly.

The nacho platter says it comes topped with chili, jalapeños, black olives, and cheddar with salsa and sour cream on the side. I ordered it without the olives, and they were not included. However, the chili was basically a can or hormel chili with beans, and it wasn’t even hot. The cheese was burned, and there only 3-4 jalapeño slices. An embarrassment compared to the wonderful other dishes we got and they should probably remove this...

When you first approach from the outside this place seems a bit like it was closed as you approach. Once inside it’s not a huge place but has that very old bar feeling to it. Our table was very wobbly so we grabbed bar seats. Drinks were made and as we were sitting there we noticed a ton of fruit flys which isn’t a good thing. But the food we ordered looked good. I ordered my burger well done and got cowboy fritters. The fritters were outstanding! The French fries I got with my burger were excellent as well. The burger was good up until I noticed that it wasn’t fully cooked I noticed a little pink inside. Which is fine for some. But a huge turn off on the food for me. Overall I’d give it a 4/5 stars the atmosphere was ok. For how old the place is I get the historical aspect of it.

What an experience! I visited Cooperstown this weekend for the first time and was delighted by the food and service I had at Cooley’s. I normally don’t write reviews but I had to share the great experience I had there. Definitely the best food spot in town! Erin was our server and I was blown away by how extremely kind and attentive she was to my family and me. We got our food quickly and our drinks were delicious. We had the wings, mac and cheese bites, salad, and everything couldn’t have been better. As a vegetarian I was thrilled to see a veggie burger on the menu. Cooley’s is also very clean and suitable for families and large groups. Overall, my family and I will be recommending Cooley’s to anyone in Cooperstown. I’d love to visit again just to go back here!

When in Cooperstown NY we had a great time and an even better time when we came upon Cooley’s Stone House Tavern! The place had great service as soon as we walked in, shout out to Taren who did an amazing job even with a fully packed house. The drinks were top notch and the food was even better from the kitchen. Rueben’s were great, the Cowboy burger was spicy and fresh, the salads were delicious and the rest of the fresh dishes were a hit. We had a large group but it didn’t slow anyone down. Great job all around! We will definitely suggest this to anyone and we will come back here again. Thank you!
