Have been walking by this place twice a day five days a week heading to and from work. Finally decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. Got the steak and brisket burger. Got my order in seven minutes and everything was hot fresh and juicy. The burger patty pretty much fills the bun so it’s a decent size as you can see. The staff was friendly and attentive. They actually checked back to see how everything is and how you are doing, especially my waiter, Richard. Nothing beats enjoying a good burger and a beer outside on the patio on a beautiful day

Place is average at best. Way over priced. 5.99 for German potato salad that was in a 4" plate and about a spoon and a half. And tasted like cooked potatoes and Italian dressing. Not good, don't order. The Monte Cristo sandwich wasn't bad, but at 18.99, it should have been great! Oh only come with chips fries were extra. $9.00 for a beer. Service was okay. They did let me bring my dog onto the lower patio.

Good food, friendly staff, out of the way respite. Nothing artisinal, just plain old good food...and drinks! I ordered a burger, the waitress did not ask me for a temp. It was a pre-made patty cooked well. That's fine with me because it was good! This is basically a snack shop with seating and alcohol. Just right for what we wanted.

We stopped in here to grab a bite to eat for lunch. Waitress got our order for drinks (1x Water, 1x coke) while we looked at the menu. Nothing looked too appealing with very limited options. $15 for a sandwich and chips...$3 extra for fries ($18 dollar sandwich!). As we were sitting there we saw several people getting pizza....no pizza on the menu however. I asked a waitress how we went about ordering pizza and got "We don't have pizza on the menu". So I pointed at the people right next to us with a large pizza. Her response was "It mentions pizza on the front of the menu". Yes it said the word "pizza" on the front of the menu, but nowhere thru out did it mention what kinds, sizes, prices. She was ready to walk off when I asked can we order some. Her: "Yes", Me "Okay, well what kind do you have?" Her: "We have cheese, pepperoni and sausage", Me: "Just in large? By the slice? Medium?". Her: "Yes".

It was like pulling teeth, still no idea how much all of this would be since it wasn't on the menu. We decided to just get the check and go elsewhere. That's when we saw that a water and a coke was $3. This place is a joke and a ripoff. I don't usually lay into businesses. I can usually find a silver lining but this place missed the mark. Avoid at all costs and go elsewhere. Hard Ball Cafe right next door had an amazing French...

We stopped in for the 1st time this past weekend. We are a family of 6 and had been traveling so we wanted something quick.. we were greeted by a reluctant woman who said "you just made it we close in 30 minutes.." It was 7pm.. and their hours are listed as open until 8pm. We asked if it was still OK to sit and eat and if not we would go elsewhere.. she said it was "fine".. We sat and checked the menu and I couldn't believe the prices.. $19 for a kids chicken tender meal.. $4 for a soda.. $22-$25 sandwiches with fries.. we don't mind paying when the quality matches the price but wow did we end up regretting stopping here. We heard what sounded like the cooks/owners yelling perhaps upset that they had to cook our food? We tried to order a side of cheese sauce for my sons fries (mind you his kids meal already cost $19) and we were told we had to order an additional cheese fries appetizer and that they would not let us purchase the sauce separately.. we did it because that is what my son wanted but wow is that very money hungry of them. The whole time the vibe was weird and the food didn't live up the price in my opinion. Also after coming on here and reading other reviews where the owner apparently likes to argue with people -- I can completely understand why the restaurant is run this way. Save your money and go elsewhere. Bad vibes...

came to eat on induction Sunday, we had 3 families and they had 2 waiters and 1 waitress help us, for one family, the order was wrong. a waiter for one of the other families was told and asked if they could send the waitress up, they said they would, 10 minutes later, we asked again, they said she was "pretty busy", 10 minutes after that and the whole group of us halfway through our own meals, another waiter finally took care of the issue, the original waitress didn't come back until after the corrected meal was served, for over $100 plus per family it was really sad service and the patio wasn't full at the time, just not a good experience, the husband of the woman who had the wrong meal had to go down and speak with the manager since we were told "she had bad knees" and could not come and speak with us. treatment was not great and even though it was induction weekend, the restaurant was not full as the induction was just starting so most people were not perusing around downtown Cooperstown...
