My friend and I decided to do the Starfield Hiking Trail, and headed to Cooperstown afterward for dinner. We quickly searched using Yelp, and found Nicoletta's. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and the restaurant was clean with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. It should be noted that the prices were also excellent. We started with a Bruschetta which was fantastic. It has eggplant tapenade, prosciutto, roasted red peppers, and was topped with a toasted mozzarella cheese slice. It was absolutely fantastic! We were both blown away immediately. For our entrees, my friend had the chicken marsala, which he loved, and I had the lasagna. The lasagna was perfectly cooked, it had excellent sausage (which I rarely say) that was very well made, perfectly seasoned, and had no grizzle. Inside the lasagna was also perfectly cooked and delicious beef, and the ricotta cheese was so thick and creamy that I was in heaven. For dessert we shared a strawberry cheesecake which was also very yummy. It was creamy like a heavenly cloud, and my friend rolled his eyes when I said that out loud, but then agreed with me, LOL. We will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in Cooperstown.

Nicoletta's is a cozy and unpretentious Italian eatery which serves typical fare at reasonable prices. The space is well appointed with nice table spacing. We had the salad special (which is big enough to share), chicken saltimbocca and veal parmesan. Both were well prepared with a nice sauce. The red sauce was especially tasty with a nice tang. The dishes were not the best we have ever had, but good. The house wines by the glass are a good value at $7 but "cellar" wines are available for a higher price if you choose to indulge. We finished with the tiramisu which was acceptable but lacked character. Service was OK and the speed of the kitchen was excellent.

One of the joys of being on vacation is finding a really great restaurant. That's exactly what we found when we discovered Nicoletta's while walking on Main street in Cooperstown. The restaurant is nicely and simply decorated. Our waitress Renee could not have been nicer. And last but not least the food was great and the prices very reasonable. I invite everyone if you are in the Cooperstown, New York area to patronize this restaurant and places like it so we ensure they stay in business!!

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy at Nicoletta's. We had our Rehearsal Dinner here and the food and staff were great! We were able to pick out the menu beforehand, which helped seeing as we had a party of 30 people and 2 children (go for the bruschetta to start, it's amazing.) However, it was a bit difficult to get ahold of Phillip in the beginning when we were trying to book our rehearsal dinner here, which seemed to be par for the course for restaurants out in Cooperstown (during the off season, it's hard to get ahold of people I guess!) And we were also double booked when we got there for the rehearsal dinner. I communicated with Phillip via email since getting a call back was kind of hard, so apparently he didn't check to see that there was another party booked for the patio, which he told us we would have for our dinner months prior, so we had to eat inside. Not terrible since we were still able to eat there, however, a bit more organization on Phillip's part would definitely...

Sorry, but not too happy about eating here. Just Italian taste was good but it’s Pretend upscale & Everything is Ala cart!! You don’t even get a salad with your meal & but a small portion of bread shaped like a little tiny loaf served with oil & balsamic vinegar before it & Everything comes with some form or shaped pasta & its A it’s not even a average portion that’s served in an oversized bowl. Waitress really should rethink her attitude & realize her face portrays what she’s thinking.. possibly time for another occupation? Maybe it was just because it was a Saturday.. who knows but Don’t care if I never go back here again.. NOT LIKE IT WAS YEARS AGO! Water stained ceilings! & outlets with no covers definitely safety hazards, makes one wonder what else.. that we...
