Shame on the employees of this ice cream store for denying a young autistic boy a treat he was looking forward to after a special needs basketball game. We approached the window at exactly 9:00. The young man behind the glass opened the window and said sorry, we're closed. I pulled out my phone and it said 9:01. Would it have really been that hard to scoop one more cone? There was a group of older people sitting at picnic tables nearby. They just shook their heads & looked down at the ground. Gone are the days when people go above & beyond in service. Turkey Hill ice cream galore! They have tons of varieties and flavors, milk shakes, sundaes...ect. I bought 2 large ice creams to-go for my kids and husband that were at home, and my husband couldn't dare eat his in 1 sitting he had to go back at it a few times and my kids ate their ice cream a couple a couple times as well. Great ice cream for decent price. They have benches and some outdoor tables and lots of parking spots. It’s busy with long line of customers. Took me 20 minutes to get my ice cream but it’s definitely worth it. I got raspberry chocolate chips, cappuccino cookies and kitchen sink flavors.
