Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Town of Potsdam

Wow. Our party of 6 show up at 330 after moving. It started off nice and normal but once we got to our seats, things started to change. We had to relocate our table because when our waitress put 3 tables together she didn't realize that a light was in the way of serving us. Not a big deal. Next she takes our drink order and can't seem to understand that our toddler who had a full sippy cup didn't want anything to drink. Again, not a big deal so whatever. She brings the drinks and we order our food. An order of cheesy bread and 2 large pizzas, a supreme and a 3 topping. After waiting a while, she brings out 1 pizza. She gets it on the table and starts to say she will be back with the other. We stopped her and asked about the cheesy bread. It's been sitting on the counter back there waiting for our pizzas. Annoying because we ordered the breadsticks as an appetizer. We then look at the pizza she brought. It was the 3 topping pizza with 4 toppings. It had sausage on it. 1 member of the party can't eat sausage as it makes her sick. Again mistakes happen but really? We send it back to get it remade. She then brings our cheese sticks out and then the supreme pizza. Now we are stuck with a choice, so we eat the pizza hot and have the one member watch us eat or do we suffer a cold pizza and wait... she had us eat. When her pizza did come out, it was 7 slices and not 8. Apparently 1 slice fell off in the back. The waitress tells us that they will give us a discount or we can have them remake the pizza again. We took the pizza with a discount because by now our girl was starving. Not further issues with service from here. We finally get the bill and the "discount" they gave us was a $5 coupon off of a $77 meal. Come on...

If I could give zero stars I would. I would appreciate the email that tells you what time your food will be delivered if it were at all accurate. We ordered food at 9:22pm, and the email told us that the food would be delivered at 10:05pm. With 43 minutes before our food was to arrive, it did not seem a big deal if the phone we put down for calling was out of charge. There is supposedly 43 minutes before the delivery person should be here; ample time to get home and charge the phone. Getting home at 9:45pm with a supposed 20 minutes before our food should be here, we started charging the phone and began waiting for a call. By 10:20pm, we called Pizza Hut and were welcomed with attitude and judgement for not expecting our delivery 20 minutes early. Over the roughly four years that I've lived here, this location has always served consistently great quality pizza and are very timely on orders. The staff has also always been kind and helpful. The only reason that I am giving four stars and not five is that they do not deliver to my apartment. Somehow I am outside of their delievery range even though I am only 5 minutes away from their location. The path they would need to take is only three turns and one of those is leaving the parking lot. Since it is so close and on my way home, this isn't a huge deal, but I would definitely order more often if they delivered...
