Harbor Freight is moving on up ! The recent introduction of their new âICONâ tool line is worth a second look. The hand tools they now offer, sockets, wrenches, ratchets, etc. look and feel substantial, the Finnish is beautiful, to say the least, and they do carry a lifetime warranty. For everyone thinking Harbor Freight is a purveyor of cheap, knock off tools, it seems they have stepped up their game with this tool line. The tools are priced higher than the stores standard offerings, but are extremely competitive with the professional tool truck brands that arrive weekly at the repair shops. For anyone wishing to save on a massive tool bill, you should venture out to Harbor Freight, and see the new tool display.
The really impressive part of this new tool line is actually their âtool storage systemâ. Besides telling you that itâs massive, solid, well thought out, beautifully finished, and has size and design options available, And four color choices !! I could go on and on, but you need to see for yourself. They are now on display, also come with a lifetime warranty, and âfreeâ delivery.
Itâs also worthy of mention that Harbor Freight Tools caries almost every facet of tool needs you might need, be it auto mechanics, carpentry, welder, tile setter, house painter, electrician. Now thatâs not saying they have absolutely everything you might ever need, but they surely come close.
And they also have a very reasonably priced wall of work gloves.
I really want to give this tool line a five star review, but not having used any of these tools, just going by look and feel, Finnish, (I also sold tools many years ago, S&K brand), I leave it a four star for the time being, mainly to see how the company handles any warranty...
Read moreSuckey store. Harbor freight is what it is. Cheap chinese tools and other junk. These cheap tools have their place but if you career or your life depend on them, buy them elsewhere. For once in a lifetime or once a year use, you can usually get by with a cheap tool.
With that being said a visit to harbor freight tools that dont suck type websites can save you some frustration. These sites will give you real world reviews and the model nimbers you need to pick an adequate tool from their selection.
This particular store sucks. The manager is an a-hole and was when he worked at tractor supply. Really, how hard is it to make eye contact and acknowledge your customers?
The cashiers are horrible here. Slow, miserable and inefficient. They usually only have one cashier so customers are forced to wait in line. Managers and other staff just walk on by and think this is ok, instead of opening the the other register.
Speaking of cashiers, please stop asking me about extended service plans and tool clubs. I obviously found your store and bought something without having my mailbox full of your junk mail. So give it a rest, especially while other customers are waiting.
Whats with the quarter deposit on shopping carts? Other stores dont have that. Except stop and shop on 17s in NJ. Im tempted to buy some cheap chinese bolt cutters off you and set them free.
The final thing that annoys me at this store is the cheap glass doors on the front. Yhe operate manually. So you have to literally wrestle the door to get a...
Read moreBeen shopping here for a couple of years in this store with no issues, the last visit was very negative and upsetting, I was lied to by a young guy with a beard and a guy that may work there, see him hanging around the store. I drove 20 minutes to the store only to have these two lie to me about an item I had called and checked stock on, they were smug, I left and I knew they were lying so I decided to call the store again the next morning to check stock again, sure enough, I spoke with someone else and magically they still had 3 in stock, I had one put aside and went there and made the purchase, these two idiots made me waste 40 minutes round trip for nothing. I've been to other harborfreight stores and employees have always been polite, even this store, it's just my experience with these two, I have no idea what I did or said, I will make sure harborfrieght...
