I fundamentally like the products sold at this store but it is very disorganized, many of the employees are too busy to provide customer service (not that I think this is their fault, there's too much to do), and things run very slowly. I usually struggle to find things I am looking for because everything is just dumped into piles and a mess. I find this frustrating because I go into the store a lot and should be able to find things without help, but items are never where they should be. I usually wait a significant amount of time in line to check out. There is usually only one cashier and even when the line gets really long, no one ever comes to help the cashier, even if they call for assistance, or if someone does come to help, they take forever to come up. I have waited up to 45 minutes in a line of 4 people to be able to make my purchase. But the staff if very nice and helpful when they can be. I don't blame the staff, but it seems like things are not running smoothly here. The store used to be very organized and run really smoothly, so it's sad to see it falling apart like this. But I will keep coming to this store because there is no where else to go for arts and crafts supplies. Again, I like the store and the staff are really pleasant, they just seem perpetually...
Read moreWe were so excited to find a 2 foot tall Halloween blow mold for $59.99 (marked on the box)! When we went to use the self checkout, it rang up $79.99. The only cashier, Laura, told us to bring the item to her. When we first made it to the self checkout, my husband set the very large box on the counter, and accidentally knocked a metal vase type thing full of flags on the floor. He immediately apologized, to which Laura just snapped, "Yep!" Once she rang up the blow mold at the correct price, we told her that we had a 30% coupon to which she stated we couldn't use it because she had to override the (correct) price. I said she shouldn't have had to do that as it was clearly marked on the box. She then pulls out her phone and manually figured out the price with the 30% off. We appreciated that, but as we are leaving, my husband again apologized about knocking over the flags and she again just barked, "Yep!" Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe she hates her job. I am a small business owner. I have a little retail store and I couldn't imagine talking to people like that when they accidentally knock something over. He didn't break anything and I'm sure it's not the first time it happened. Besides, a much nicer employee came over and picked them all up so why...
Read moreI purchased an item, a Crayola crayon melter for over $40. I went home and found the same item on Amazon for$ 12. 99. Ever to check which cleared on December 4th. They took $77 out of my checking account on December 4th. I went back to return the item and something else that I bought with it and they said I had to wait until December 10th. On the receipt it said return after December 10th. I returned on December 10th and they said I had to wait till tomorrow to return the item. So they're holding my $77 for longer. This item cleared six days ago. There was not one human in the store that can override the machines. They were unkind and harsh. Their prices are outrageous. Charging $30 / value for an item and then not refunding the customer 4/15 days since it was purchased? I will never ever return to the store. They are ignorant, not customer friendly, and their policies are terrible. I have never met a manager who is unable to override a machine. You took my money, give it back. Be warned. They're completely overpriced I would check Amazon before you purchase anything from them. They're rude, and they're ignorant. Best of luck if you decide to shop here, I'll be...
