I've been to this location several times and have never had a positive experience (primarily staff/customer service issues), so I figured it was time I left my feedback. While I generally try to avoid this location because of past experiences, this was the best option for me this morning because I was driving by at an early hour and this was the only location open I passed that worked with my schedule.
Got there just past 5 a.m. when they opened. Went through the drive through. Ordered my coffee just fine and pulled up to the window to pay. The person processed my payment and THEN told me after handing back my card they just had to brew the coffee. 1) It should have been brewed; they were now open. 2) they should have told me that at any point prior to taking my payment to give me the option to leave because I did in fact have someplace I needed to be. 3) They didn't even give me a chance to respond. Just turned away and closed the window as if was perfectly fine.
After waiting a few minutes, they gave me my coffee. I pulled away. The coffee cup wasn't that warm. when I tried it, I realized they if fact did not brew coffee, but most likely warmed yesterday's or the iced coffee in the microwave. The coffee was at best warm, not hot as you would expect with coffee that was just brewed, and the heat wasn't evenly distributed (meaning some of it was warmer than other parts, as you would expect with something heated in the microwave). To boot, the coffee tasted bad, even after I warmed it more in a microwave myself, and i didn't want to drink it. Waste of time and money.
After so many poor experiences over such a long period of time (years), just avoid this location. It is clearly managed poorly. If it isn't managed well from the top, you won't ever get a staff that cares or performs well either. The one star is simply because they showed up and did the bare minimum. Go...
Read moreToo many young staff who haven't been trained at all properly. They don't ever know how to make drinks, or give you the correct donuts. Everytime my friend orders a blueberry coffee, they make her a cold coffee drink instead. One kid put her hot coffee in a cold drink cup. They spend too much time trying to figure out how to make a beverage, locating cups, lids, flavored syrups, etc., that they take 15-20 minutes to make a single hot chocolate or a hot coffee. Then they stare at you asking if that's all you need, when they haven't even finished completing your order. One kid stared at me for a few minutes before he even went to get our donuts.Then he didn't know which donuts were which, and had to wait 10 minutes for another girl to show him what was what, after I showed him which ones I wanted. Having to wait 20-25 minutes to receive 2 donuts, a hot chocolate, and a hot coffee, when you're the only customer inside the establishment they're tending to, is absolutely ridiculous. You can tell they don't train any of their new help. I'm from out of town, and travel once a month to a doctor's appointment down the road from this Dunkin ' Donuts. Each time, the service is terrible bc none of the help they have knows what they're doing, or much about what Dunkin' Donuts sells. It's a shame that they don't train these kids how to make basic coffee, hot chocolate, or receive the donuts that you want. I mean they've punched in your order, yet they have no idea what you've just ordered from them. Their drive thru is always packed. Right out to the road. I don't mind going inside though. But they really need to train their employees before just throwing them into the job by themselves. Only one time in 8 months did I receive proper & prompt service. Read moreWent there today as drive through wasn’t closed off on the app for once and placed an order. Got to the store and there was a sign in the way of the drive through. Parked and went inside, waited in line for 15 minutes because the two girls behind the counter were laughing, making snide comments, making rude comments about each other, trashing the place and saying “just hand out the drinks as is and get these people out of here.” The store was filthy with milk and powders everywhere. Disgusting. Finally got up to the register with one lady in front of me and the girl at the register picks up her cell phone as she was getting a phone call and answers it, which the other girl promptly rips it out of her hand and says “management watches the cameras you know we can’t do that.”the girl says back “i don’t care, i’m 2 seconds from quitting anyways.” extremely unprofessional. That had me wanting to walk out from the get go. Got up to the register and said that I had done a mobile order but couldn’t get through the drive through and she said, “ok. the name?” with an eye roll, and i said my name and she proceeded to look so bothered and offended that I had ordered a drink from a coffee shop. She said “yeah, we can’t make lattes.” I scoffed and started walking away because at this point I was annoyed and frustrated and late for work. She stops me and says she can give me a cash refund, I’m confused why I can’t just be refunded through the app and get my points back as I didn’t even get my drink anyways. Got my 5$ and left.
