Worst meal I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Not what I was hoping for when I got a craving for Mexican food after work. Typical decor in a small space. Although the staff was friendly, I'm sure they did not understand me very well, nor I them. I ordered cheese enchiladas with rice and refried beans. My order arrived promptly, but was not even warmed through. I asked for it to be heated some more. It was probably microwaved and returned to me. It was still not hot, but I gave up and decided to start eating because I was hungry. I am sure that the enchiladas consisted of nothing more than a mozzarella stick wrapped in a tortilla. The cheese was so dense that mild heating did nothing to melt the cheese. In other restaurants, I have encountered shredded cheddar cheese or a blend of other appropriate ethnic cheeses, served nice and bubbly hot. The sauce on the enchiladas, and the sides were very bland, unremarkable and barely warm. Good luck to the owners. They will need luck, because their culinary skills are sorely lacking! I will never return to...

We were visiting near by and it was lunch time and we gave this restaurant a try. I am extremely judgemental and pessimistic when I am hangry...was not expecting to leave happy.
Small restaurant, but they were very hospitable and we borrowed a chair from another table for our family of five. For lunch, most people were having their food delivered to them or grabbing it to go.
I ordered horchata (my favorite drink) and water for everyone else. I was embarrassed when my kids wanted a Hamburger and chicken nuggets. Everything turned out to be delicious and our wait was short. They take pride in the food that they put before us and we enjoyed every bite. The sopes were my favorite!
I have enjoyed La Hacienda del Don Mañuel (I butchered the spelling) up the street but we didn't have the time necessary for...

The Long: Visiting NY from Florida and spent the day in the city. Came back to Sufferen via the train and we were HUNGRY. We sat down at one of the five tables and we're greeted by a friendly and lovely family who gave us chips and took our order immediately. We split a huarache and meat molcajete and both were delicious. The huarache was crispy on the bottom and chewy in the middle. The molcajete was HUGE, hot, and filled us both up. It came with warm steamy corn tortillas which were great for filling up with the meat and the many salsas provided. We ate and...
