Il Villaggio Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Ramapo

If I can give it 0 stars I would. I typically order from here often. Sometimes through slice which their online website directs you to and sometimes by calling. Today will be the last time I ever give this restaurant my money. I placed an order online at 5:30, it was projected to be delivered by 6:45/7:00. By 7:15 when I didn't recieve my order I called. After a conversation back and forth telling the phone guy what had happened he assured me that I didn't need to re-place the order and that he would have it out in 15-20 minutes. At 8pm I called again still not having recieved my order, this time he is telling me that slice has their own drivers (which is not true) and if I would have called he would have had my order to me within an hour (which is not what I asked). He said I had to take this entire issue up with Slice and refused to tell me if they actually ever made my order or not. I then contacted Slice in effort to get a refund for the food I still havent recieved. They need to check with the restaurant before processing. When they called the restaurant he lied and said the order was made and delivered. When I called back he admitted to lying to slice. This guy was seriously lacking a brain. He is the last person I would choose to have interacting with my customers. He does not know up from down and he is the reason I will never order from this restaurant again. Get better...

I gave this restaurant three stars in the past and honestly did not particularly like the pizza the same opinion was shared by my family members.

Something has changed and some things are for the better and some things are for the worse so let’s start out on a positive note on a positive note the pizzas have gotten spectacular I don’t use that word lately it’s a traditional New York pizza it’s not the Ne-Yo trendy Italian buffalo mozzarella style pizza that everybody seems to rave about it’s classic New York style pizza and it has improved to the point where I would say that it’s my favorite or my second favorite in town.

The garlic knots are out of this world spectacular another home run out of the park.

However everything else is still falling way short of everything else and every other place in town the cheese stick in the here is the chicken Parm the salads are all absolutely substandard and the heroes have nothing on them they’re overpriced and they are dry thr are old and they’re just really bad. So this place really is still a place that we will go to depending on what we’re in the mood for if we’re just in the mood for a pizza...

#1 They should put a person who understands and speaks English better #2 the manager named Luis, this person when he is drunk sends the food orders wrong, he is always blaming the one who makes the deliveries, the one who makes the deliveries is not to blame for the mistakes that those in the kitchen make, Mr. Edwin is a very kind and respectful person, he is the one who makes the deliveries from Monday to Friday, this person deserves a good tip for his kindness #3 the manager Luis came to leave me a delivery meal but apparently he was drunk because of the beer on his breath and his appearance #4 before going with my wife to eat at that restaurant and we saw that he mistreats customers that is why we did not eat at the restaurant again # 5 but I do not deny it the pizza 🍕 is delicious #6 friends I have who say the same about manager Luis when he is drunk he makes many mistakes and they always blame the one who makes the deliveries #7 the food has changed since three weeks ago.it is no longer the same.
