Wingstop — Restaurant in Town of Riverhead

Today (8/28/25) marks their grand opening, and I couldn’t be more excited! The place looks fantastic — super clean, organized, and full of great energy. Every single employee I met was friendly, upbeat, and clearly proud to be part of the new team.

I’ve had some mixed experiences at other WingStop locations in the past (sometimes they lose that charm over time), but this one? They’re absolutely nailing it so far. Great service, great attitude, and that classic WingStop flavor we’ve all been waiting for.

Overall, my experience was okay. The atmosphere was busy, but the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations—the fries were cold, and the wings lacked flavor. I also noticed that some staff were not wearing gloves, which raised some hygiene concerns. Given that this is a new establishment, it’s possible they’re still getting acclimated.
