Tl;dr : This is the fast food king of chicken sandwiches. It is exactly like the picture advertised. Delicious, crispy, huge, soft, delicious (yes, twice.) Do yourself a favor and get it now. Read review for more details.
Mighty Zinger Burger — Wow, wow, wow. After the meteoric rise in demand and production of the chicken sandwich thanks to Popeye’s release of their very own chicken sandwich, I’ve had many different sandwiches from various different stores. Popeye’s, Chick-Fil-A, McDonald’s, Burger King. So far, the discontinued Ch’king from BK held title of best chicken sandwich in my books, but The Mighty Zinger Burger is a CONTENDER to be reckoned with, and may just be the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. This sandwich is nothing short of extraordinary in flavor, size, and texture. Exactly how you imagine it feeling and tasting by looking at the picture, is exactly how it feels and taste in real life. First, I’ll start with the quality of the sandwich itself. Though this next statement may sound like it juxtaposes itself in the description, the texture of the sandwich can only be described as taking a blissful bite out of a hot, crunchy, crispy cloud. The breading on the chicken patties is perfect, absolutely perfect. It’s a thick layer of crunchy, delicate, cloud-like goodness that your teeth will glide through like butter while creating a crunch so distinct that someone would think you’re eating freshly cooked French fries by the fistful. This wonderful crunch is then supported by a proportionally thick, but soft and delicious cut of piping hot (be cautious) fried white chicken that your teeth will also glide right through. Now multiply that feeling by two every bite since you have two huge patties. This is of course all complimented by a generous douse of a tangy orange sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Now sandwich all that between two succulent, warm, soft sesame buns and woooooo, you have a handheld dream for your tastebuds. Though “handheld” is a bit of an understatement considering its size, which brings me to my next point. This behemoth of a sandwich, once again, looks exactly like the picture. This is probably the first ever sandwich I’ve had trouble taking the first bite out of just due to its sheer size, but I’m not complaining. The two giant thick cuts of white chicken will do an excellent job at fulfilling your hunger. Make sure you have something underneath you while you eat this sandwich. You’re bound to have a spill or two just due to its colosal size. I recommend adding hot...
Read moreI wasn’t really planning on eating out, but I had a craving for something different and remembered driving past Halal Addicts before. Decided to finally give it a shot — and wow, I’m glad I did.
I got the mix over rice with salad and extra white sauce. First bite and I was hooked. The chicken was super flavorful, and the lamb was surprisingly tender. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked.
What really impressed me, though, was how good it was the second time. I went back a few days later, and one of the staff recommended I try the finger sauce on the side. Mixed it in with the rice — total game-changer. It added this bold kick that balanced out the creaminess of the white sauce.
It's rare these days to find a spot that delivers on taste and stays consistent. Halal Addicts did both — and they’ve definitely earned a regular...
Read moreI was having a craving for something different. I had passed by this place prior and said I would try it.
Ordered the mix over rice with vegetables (salad) and extra white sauce. I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful everything was. The lamb was tender and the chicken was so good.
I ended up going back a few days later and getting another order. This time the staff recommended to try a side of the finger sauce. I dug to the bottoms of my food ( since it was covered with that delicious white sauce) for some of the rice. I mixed the ginger sauce with the rice and that also was most delicious.
It's so hard to find food that is not only delicious but consistent. This place hits the mark. I will be going...
