Bleu Collar Sammies — Restaurant in Town of Saugerties

Wanted to go here for a while and have seen a lot of mixed reviews. This is a small spot that personally wouldn’t sit and eat at as it not very appealing. So is wanted to try the burger special they had posted on Facebook I wanted to try. I ordered three lunches to go. Burger special, black and blue and a chicken caprese sandwich. I was impressed with my burger as it was well seasoned and cooked correctly my only gripe is I don’t like the Sam’s club buns instead of a quality hard roll. I also had half of the chicken caprese for dinner as the wife couldn’t finish it and again it was a good sandwich that could have been better with a quality roll. I thought the pricing was fair. I would go back and try other items with the exception of a cold cut sandwich as I don’t think they have Boars Head meats as I didn’t see a decal or sign...

I found out about this place because it showed up on DoorDash one day.

Probably the best sandwiches i've ever had in Saugerties.

Placed an order today through DoorDash.

The delivery driver dropped it off at the wrong place. No idea where.

Called the shop, Jessica picked up.

I asked if she could get a hold of the driver.

She called DoorDash and the driver refused to pick the order back up.

She told them to refund us, made the order entirely new, gave us a free drink, gave us a sandwich card with 4 holes punched even though the order was only for one sandwich, and personally delivered it herself.

Oh and she also gave us the entire order FOR FREE.

Best place...

I called in for a Philly cheesesteak and was told 5-10 minutes. Was done in 8. Sandwich was wrapped beautifully. Spent $15.50 plus tax which is pricey for any sandwich from any store; would expect $11-13 max. Sub roll was good but after unwrapping the paper it was extremely soggy, almost wet. Sub was extremely hot which isn’t a negative. Main complaint is the sauce. The steak was average, very tender but seemed like it was mixed with the spicy queso from a jar and thrown on the roll and mixed with a few peppers. Definitely not almost $16 quality. I’d 100% try something else from here as the special for the day...
