I got a gift card for Christmas, which is nice because I get doughnuts on Sundays elsewhere, and I am always open to trying a new places. I had $25 on the gift card and added $3 more on the card in order to complete my order through the app. Weird, but not a huge deal. My order was for 8:30am, I didn't get a message saying it was being prepared til right before that, and I got the message it was ready after 8:45. Not a big deal either, but just information. So I go to the store and walk in and approach the counter. A lady walked by and "avoided" eye contact when she walked by, then a young man did the same thing. Like they were trying to either act like they were busy or they didn't want to work the counter. No greeting or acknowledging me at all.. I wasn't sure how a pickup worked, as I have never used a dunkin app or even been to this store before. I happen to look over I noticed on the counter there was a box with a couple bags and a little box on top with a label and happened to be my name. Being it was just sitting there on the counter i wasn't sure what to do.. After a the two employees tried their best to ignore me I just spoke up and asked if I just take them? They guy said if it's in the thing it's good to go, which was confusing, it wasn't in a thing it was on the counter. I was confused with the bags because I only ordered donuts and the munchkins, I thought they would box everything. I peeked in the bags, saw there were donuts in them and gathered my stuff and went home. The atmosphere was very standoff-ish. Then I got home and the donuts in the bags were a glazed chocolate with an apple cinnamon together in one bag, and the cinnamon was all over the chocolate donut and it was kind of off tasting for the person who got the chocolate donut. The other bag had an apple fritter abd a glazed blueberry donut, that didn't stay intact because the fritter mutilated it, that probably would have been a better option to go in the bag with the chocolate glazed, or even the regular glazed one from the box and put the powdery one in the box but at this point that's here nor there... The donuts in the box consisted of 2 Bavarian with chocolate or Boston cream, whatever they call them there, a couple headlights and a few other kinds. There was hardly any cream in the Bavarian/ Boston cream donuts, and the headlights were completely smooshed and had sprinkles, which aren't shown in the app or they wouldn't have been ordered anyway. I order those for my son who loves headlights but hates sprinkles, so he didn't end up eating any of the donuts. I will say the donut part of the donuts were soft and fresh, the creams and fillings were skimpy. It's not the end of the world. I'm glad I only spent $3 of my own money on them. I wasn't impressed with the staff or process, but it's okay because I will go across the street to my go-to place at Tops to get my Sunday doughnuts and regret not going...
Read moreI think this Dunkin Donuts is just okay I have gone in a few times and have gone through the drive-thru and experiences of them are a little bit different going through the drive-thru it's pretty darn slow and occasionally the order has been wrong but that could be human error and listening through those boxes are not always the easiest things to hear through I understand that but even also going in two inside the restaurant as well also being blind and visually impaired sometimes they are decent to realize that I might need extra assistance sometimes they don't know at all and then I have to speak up and say where's my order and they tell me oh it's down there and I have to let them know I don't know where down there is and then they pick it up and bring it to me and said of actually showing me or taking me and saying ma'am it's you come this way I will tap the counter so you know where to go to pick up your order or you know or I will pick it up and bring it over to you so I know instead of picking up setting it on the counter and then thinking that I will know that they did so and it's quite frustrating so my inside the restaurant is not that special either bought the food has been fantastic the coffee has been good that is definitely a plus but it was for the people that work for Dunkin they definitely need to learn how to take care of a customer that is blind and visually impaired very not impressed with their customer service at...
Read moreI go here every day for coffee! I am addicted to Dunkin Donuts coffee, I cannot lie. However, today, it was a TERRIBLE experience. I accidentally ordered at this location, I meant to order at the newer Dunkin out by the thruway so I ordered my mobile order for drive thru. BIG MISTAKE. I thought that I would be able to go in and just get my drive thru order but nope. I waited 5 minutes, no one even acknowledged me. Not once. And like I said, I order a mobile order every day. So I decided I would try going in drive thru to get it. Waited 20 minutes and the line didn't move at all and of course, you can't get out of the line until you get up further. So once I could, I got out of it. I went in and asked for my order and was treated like crap. Honestly, the weekends are just terrible here. I never have a problem during the week. I'm not sure what their requirements are for drive thru but I can almost guarantee, the district manager doesn't want people waiting for 40 minutes to an hour to get their orders. I am just SO upset. Everyone who has to wait in the drive thru for that long should be given something for free. I'm not a "karen" but I feel like customer's time should be valued WAY more than...
