Update: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Service is terrible and if I could rate ZERO stars I would.
Had to come back to this god forsaken Dunkin’ Donuts because the one we usually frequent was closed. Stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to even acknowledge our presence. One kid counting his drawer by the ice cream counter couldn’t be bothered (which I get; he’s trying to leave) and the other two girls behind the counter ignored us the entire time we were there ringing a woman up the entire time. It shouldn’t take two people to take a credit card payment, and they could’ve at least apologized for the wait and acknowledged that we had been standing there. Walked out without anyone even noticing and no ice cream..
Came in for milk shakes and was helped by Sonia, she didn’t look thrilled to be working- I get it it’s a holiday and it’s nice out. However, my fiancé ordered a medium milkshake and when she put it down on top of the ice cream display (rude if you ask me, it should’ve been handed over) it was pure liquid. I spoke up about it and mentioned politely that the shake was all milk and she began arguing with me claiming it only calls for 1 scoop of ice cream in a medium shake and she “put 3 scoops of ice cream in so it’s fine.” She did not offer to re-make it, she was rude and my fiancé was too embarrassed to ask for a new one or replace it with regular ice cream since clearly Sonia isn’t trained properly and doesn’t know how to make a milkshake. So we paid for a cup of milk and left without mentioning it again. We will...
Read moreThis DD is the worst on Long Island. They are RUDE! I was over charged for and ice coffee. I drive up and the cashier tells me $8.64. I respond with that seems like a lot I just got one ice coffee medium. He asks if the car in front of me drove away. I said yes after they stopped at the window. He looks completely confused, asks for my order again in a huff. Makes it, hands it to me and asks for money. I ask how much and he points to the screen with the amount. Which still said $8.64....finally he gets right price, I pay and I'm off.
Days later....I ordered 24 munchkins and asked for a mix of the munchkins they had. The girl told me they only had chocolate and powdered, so I said if they only had 2 kinds I would just get my coffee and skip the munchkins. Then she said she would check the selection. Now all of a sudden she has chocolate, powder, blueberry and glazed. GREAT, please mix those was my response. I drive up get my order, drive to the light and my daughter asks for a munchkin. The only 2 flavors are chocolate and powder. So I drive back over and go inside to fix my order. She takes the box from me fills another box with blueberry and glazed and hands me that box. I explain AGAIN that I wanted all 4 kinds. She puts some blueberry and glazed back, opens other box adds in chocolate and powder and hands back to me. NOW I'm not sure what she did with the other donuts but I'm doubting she threw them out.
Clearly, I have learned my lesson and I will NEVER go to...
Read moreI just finished writing an email to dunckin donuts corporate. The Dunkin store located in Smithtown on Jericho Turnpike and Edgewood has consistently given me the wrong product through drive thru. So last night I decided i'm going to walk in. My particular addiction these days is the FROZEN hot chocolate. Two previous car occasions I had driven away and basically it was chocolate milk. So going into the store and ordering it I can watch it be made. The counterperson, a male, took it over to the machine that makes it "frozen" loaded what he had pre mixed which basically just stirred it vigorously. As he was going to put the whipped cream on it I said "is something wrong with that machine? That is NOT frozen". He did one of the look down, Not really sorry but oh I got caught face. Didn't say anything, walked to the back area. I hear ice being scooped. He comes back around front with a large bucket Full of ice puts it in the machine and proceeds to make me a new one.. i mean, this must be the problem, he, in this case is too Lazy to put ice in the machine to make frozen drinks. So either that's the practice of the store Or he's the one always making my chocolate milk knowingful well he should be putting ice in the machine. We'll see what cooperate says. I suggested a district manager should be going around and do a retraining for customer and product service. The guy knew what he...
