Let me just start with Megan the hostess Manager she was RUDE as can be. I checked in gave them my phone number which they repeated back to me. I was told 35 min wait. My husband and I went to the back bar to have a drink while we waited for our table. After 45 mins my husband went to check on how many people were ahead of us, he was told 2. Another 15 min wait he goes and checks and they said table for Kathleen I’m like no. They didn’t have my name on the list. MEGAN was so RUDE we are like can you check to see if I was texted because I never got a text. Finally we got seated after over an hour. We placed our order with Joano who so super sweet and give exceptional service. My husband went to the men’s room to wash his hands whereBill one of the managers was sweeping the bathroom and he proceeded to tell Bill how RUDE MEGAN was. He came and personally apologize for her rudeness started to make an excuse the she was pregnant. I informed Bill that being pregnant is not an excuse when working with the public I have 5 children so not an excuse bill was a bright happy sunlight to our unhappy experience with RUDE MEGAN. He brought us some chips and gauc while we waited for our food. I infomercial Bill for my husband to say something to you about how RUDE MEGAN was is speaking volumes as my husband is so laidback he has to really be put off by someone to complain. Bill took off one of our orders off of our check. Let’s just say if and when we go back if we see RUDE MEGAN we will walk right back out. Hats off to the wonderful and awesome Manager Bill and server Joano for making the rest of our dinner enjoyable. As far as RUDE MEGAN goes she does not belong in customer service especially in greeting customers. If I could rate this on Bill & Joano only it would have been 5 stars if I had to rate this on Megan it would have been negative-5 stars. I work customer service and would never treat my customers...
Read moreWas there yesterday for lunch with a friend an had recommended others in my shopping group to eat here as well. It was my 2nd time here. The first time about a month ago, with the same friend, was great so was looking forward to this lunch eagerly.
Well, I got food poisoning. I ordered the Thursday prime rib special with gravies mashed potatoes. As soon as my waiter put the plate in front of me I should have refused it. It looked strange. I had ordered medium and it looked a dull grayish brown. But, I was hungry and had time constraints, plus my friend's salad had arrived. Thought maybe I'd give it a try. Wrong decision! I cut into it and after about only 4 forkfuls it was sooooo salty, I couldn't eat any more The mashed potatoes had excessive salt as well. Told Sammy our waiter. The manager came over and said he'd tell corporate because the food comes that way. He brought ne plain mashed potatoes without the extremely salty gravy. THAT was better, but nothing about the prime rib. Sammy told me later that the manager was taking $6 off the check, so he didn't charge for the coffee. Duh!
Since I didn't eat much of the salty food, I ordered key lime pie to have with my coffee.
Fast forward about an hour and I had severe stomach cramping and bathroom urgency. Just made it home when diarrhea couldn't wait. Had already ruined my undies. Felt miserable all night, and the next morning residual stomach issues but milder than the afternoon before.
My friend had a salad which looked substantial, and she said was delicious. She ate every bit happily.
Wish my experience had been the same. Sooo disappointed in the...
Read moreMy husband and I come in once in a while because Miller's is our comfort food place. Usually we love, love, love our waitresses/waiters but today we were met by this old lady who was extremely smiley and kind to my caucasian husband but to me (asian) she was not only extremely cold and rude but she decided to toss my plate over to me. When I asked her why I was getting different treatment and if it was cause I was asian, she told me she was flabbergasted because this has never ever ever happened before. Continuing with her dramatic outburst after I asked her a question on why I am being treated differently, I listened to her and said the words "I was just asking... if i misunderstood I am sorry that is my fault" meanwhile she did not give me any semblance of understanding or apology. Instead she came over again to harass me and kept pushing me with a threatening tone that everyone in millers knows her and if I wanted to talk to the manager that she would be protected because everyone knows how understanding and protective they will be for her. I just wanted to know why I am getting treated differently than everyone else who was Caucasian in the restaurant. Then in the conversation I accidentally mentioned that I was a doctor because she was talking about how her child had cancer ? and then she kept harassing me to tell her what kind of doctor and at where I work. I am very concerned for not only customers who will have to deal with racist treatment, but do I have to worry that she will stalk me and show up at my work place? I am using an alternate google account so you cannot find...
