Salad-icious — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

UPDATE to the owner who felt the need to call me today and get passive aggressive and defensive over my review, do NOT call customers with that attitude trying to defend yourself. I clearly called and told you there was NO swiss and you proceeded to argue. Now you try to verbally attack the customer because you still can’t admit fault? And you’re a business owner? You’ve got ALOT to learn. I am embarassed for you.

I’ve ordered here a bunch of times but today was a disappointment and the owners explanation made zero sense. I always get a cheese topping on the salad and usually get swiss. Every order I received would come with visible chunks of swiss in the salad. Today, my order arrived with no swiss. I called up and the owner kept saying he was absolutely certain that he put swiss in there. If he did, I just paid extra for a invisible dusting of swiss that you cannot see or taste. This is rediculous. If we are paying over $20 for a salad, dont charge us for a microscopic amount of swiss that is that same size as a...

Went to SALAD-ICIOUS! in Smithown for the second time last night; it was DELICIOUS again! Pictured here is THE HIPSTER, warm bowl: Kale, Quinoa, Sweet Potatoes,Edamame, Roasted Corn, Avocado, Sunflower Seeds, Vegan Cheese (I swapped for Goat Cheese instead) with an Avocado Lime Ranch dressing 🥰 The space is immaculate, beautifully decorated and painted and so inviting. The staff behind the counter are all super friendly and very accommodating. I have to say all around AMAZING! The food is fresh , the dressings are to die for, the atmosphere is cool and comfortable, the employees and their customer skills are exceptional and the owners , Mike and his wife are some of the best humans I have ever met. I rarely come across owners of a small business who engages so much with their customers and really seem to care. The owner Mike literally drove part of my order to my house that was left behind by the Uber driver on accident. This is not the first time I got to experience their kindness and generosity at Salad-icious and I am so happy that they took a chance in these time to bring such an amazing , fresh and healthy spot to our community.
