Molinara's N.Y. Pizza & Caffe — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

First let me state that their stuffed pizza, pepper roll and wallbanger sub are very good. I'll miss them. I've been ordering from them for at least 10 years. This Saturday I ordered a wallbanger sub. After paying $48 for my order I noticed the bag was a bit lighter than it should be for a wallbanger sub. When I got home I found an assorted sub. I called to complain because this is an $18 sub and have to argue with some a--hole that would not believe that he had made a wrong sub. He agreed to remake the sub and I have to drive back. When I get there he slammed the sub on the counter. I had the first sub in my hand and he never ask for it so I turned to leave and he yells at me to throw the sub away. I replied that I'll eat it. He started screaming at me that I can't eat it cause it is $17 worth of sub that I made him remake. I handed him the sub so he could see that it was just an assorted sub worth $12. In front of other customers, he smashed through the sub wirh his hands and started yelling at me that I ate the roast beef off of it before bringing it back and he's been making this sub for years. I suggest that he must be kidding to accuse me of stealing and I tell him I won't be back but he's ignoring me now while eliciting sympathy from other customers because I drove a half hour twice and spent $48 to beat them out of $5 worth of luncheon meat. I would have expected an apology, maybe keep the first sub or offering to deliver the correct sub but no. Just an angry worker screaming at customers. I can't go back. If the owner reads this, I...

Had a terrible experience. Called and tried to order, but the man on the phone couldn't hear what I was saying and was being extremely rude about it. After finally getting our pizza order we tried to order wings and split the ten wings into two flavors. They don't do that, fine. I quickly ask my partner which flavor we want for the 10 wings and the man on the phone immediately and rudely says he's going to need us to call back because they're very busy. We were absolutely not taking a long time to order as we had decided what we had wanted before calling. I had to keep repeating myself and yelling at the phone. It is not my fault the man couldn't hear me. It is my birthday and I have received several calls today and my phone is working fine. There is no reason to be rude to a customer, even if you are frustrated with your own phone problems and even if you are that busy on a Monday. I usually go to a specific local pizza chain, but because of the virus I decided to go out on a limb and order my birthday meal from a small business. I was going to order from Olive Garden but I wanted to try something local, and wasn't disappointed! I ordered to go, looking at the pdf menu that is available online. I got the chicken parmesan. I ordered extra sauce because it seems like most places take 1/4 cup and dollop it onto the dinner, so most of the spaghetti is plain. Not here! There was plenty of sauce and plenty of cheese. The chicken was tasty and the sauce flavorful and nicely spiced. It came with a salad that had onion, banana peppers, tomato, and mozzarella cheese on it - a pretty generous portion! I saved my salad and some of my chicken parm for tomorrow because I was so full! I'm glad I got extra sauce anyway, even though I didn't need it... I'm going to have it another night for dinner with my own pasta. Yum! Very nice staff too. You can get desserts like cookies and cheesecake and such to go as well.
