WORST SERVER EVER - ALEXIA Update: I am surprised to see a few reviews praising the server Alexia, I guess she is just racist to me then cause I am not white and I assume other parties are white. Pay a visit if you support racism :)
We are a party of 4 and had a very bad experience starting with a ridiculously long wait (2 hours) on a Sunday, we got on the waiting list and went to the mall then came back at the check in time and still had to wait 30 minutes.
Then we had the absolutely worst server I've ever had across North America Alexia, she did not smile at all and slurring her words so no one understood what she's saying. We tried to order the drink advertising on the banners seen everywhere in the restaurant, she said there's no special drinks and just served us the wrong Margarita. She also gave us unsweetened iced tea instead of sweetened for the refill. I did not order drinks and the rest ordered 1 drink each, she said to me and the friend next to me if we are sharing drinks in the meanest tone and we said no, I just don't want any drinks.
While waiting for 15 mins after the drinks she finally came back to put in our food order, I was the last one to order and before I said anything, she rolled her eyes and ask if I am sharing with my friend. That was totally unnecessary and RUDE, after that we said no and I am having the rib eye with sweet potato and ceasar salad. You can't see the sweet potato it's because they ran out of it and I didn't get it until everyone's finished. Extremely poor ingredients management so I was left to eat the steak by itself without sides.
Food wise it's alright, my rib eye is overcooked so it's medium instead of medium rare but flavorful. The salad was blend but good portion, can't even comment on the sweet potato that didn't come so I paid full price and only got my steak and 1 side instead of 2. Bread rolls with cinnamon butter is a must try, I would go back only for the bread rolls but be aware of this server and the ridiculous wait.
Oh by the way they charge you $1.99 for using the tablet on the table so make sure you CHECK YOUR BILL before paying, it is a total scam but it makes sense with such...
Read moreWe came here Thursday night August 15th with my son’s family while we are visiting back home here in Buffalo. Texas Roadhouse is one of their favorites and ours as well. We used the link to get on the waiting list 25-35 minutes ahead of time. When we arrived I confirmed our whole party had arrived using the link then went to the hosts desk to confirm again. She immediately put us in the “on deck” line and the hostess took us to a booth that comfortably seated all six of us. Large capacity booths are a huge plus at the Roadhouse! Within minutes our server Lana arrived with a boat load of rolls and the scrumptious whipped honey butter spread that the Roadhouse is famous for. She took our drink orders and was back with those just when we had all decided what entree to order. My wife and I ordered 8 oz strip steaks; mine medium hers medium well with sautéed onion and mushroom topping. Both were cooked to perfection although the steaks didn’t seem to have a lot of flavor and mine was 20% fat. My wife’s steak was lean and I would definitely recommend the onion and mushroom topping for some flavor. By the way, if you get Lana as your server, she is top notch! Lana was on top of everything; she kept the rolls and butter coming throughout the meal which my 12 year old grandson was pounding down the hatch so fast he couldn’t eat his meal when it arrived. His bacon cheeseburger was just what the doctor ordered for lunch the next day and it was delicious. My son had the 12 oz ribeye which included the biggest sweat potato he’d ever seen and his wife had her traditional filet minion both cooked they way they liked. A shout out to Lana our server; it was a busy night but she had no problem taking care of us and deserved every bit of the tip. The atmosphere is pleasant to look at but the noise level is a bit much. That’s the Texas Roadhouse at dinner time, it much quieter if you can get there on the weekends for lunch or even better 3 pm. There are better steak houses in Buffalo but most not all, are a la carte or...
Read moreI've always loved Texas Roadhouse. Let me start by saying I never leave a bad review, so there is a reason I'm leaving this here. This is by far the worst experience I've had at a restaurant before. I was appalled by the way I was treated by the staff. We came in at waited for our table for 4 of us (including my one year old) and needed a height chair. They brought us to a booth and gave us a booster seat and we tried to make it work, but my child would not sit in the booster seat and there's no way I could have eaten a meal holding him while he's trying to get down to run around. So we politely asked to move to a table where we could have a height chair instead. I almost didn't want to ask and felt bad, because Ive worked in the restaurant industry and management for over 10 years and just didn't want to be difficult, but we had to as we had no other option. We moved to another table, and the original server Nina came over and dropped our drinks off and said our new server would be right over and her attitude completely changed to very angry. I said I'm so sorry we had to move, and explained why, and she slammed the last drink on the table, didn't say a word. rolled her eyes, and walked away. Extremely rude and unprofessional behavior. My father in law wanted to speak to her to let her know it was very upsetting, and she said she was just trying to hurry up to let the new server know, I said it' was okay as I just wanted to drop the conversation ,and she huffed and rolled her eyes again and walked away. The hostess was very rude as well when moving us, I thanked her and she didn't say a word just threw our stuff on the table. My new server was a very pleasant gentleman, unfortunately can't remember his name. All in all, I can definitely say I will not be returning to this location, and you guys should genuinely consider new management and front of house staff. This place was a...
