L.L.Bean — Local services in Town of Ulster

I was thrilled when I heard an L.L. Bean would be opening near me, and I have not been disappointed! I've never left empty-handed, and my family is happy about that. Even the dog likes the treats they sell! Stephanie is what I consider the perfect store manager. She offers to help, answers questions, and then leaves me alone to browse. She knows I'll holler if I need her. All the salespeople I've met have been wonderfully helpful. This morning I met Jean, and we started talking about Vista pants, and when she showed me the ones she was wearing I almost wanted to go find them and try them on, but my pile of items was already too high. Every time I visit this store I feel like I'm among friends. Granted, they are friends who want me to spend money, but the truth is Bean employees know their stock and can always give you good advice about sizes. I hate to shop, but an excursion to L.L. I have seen these fleece lined jeans in the catalog for 20-30 years and I've always wanted a pair. Last night I purchased a pair and I wasn't disappointed, they are the best fitting jeans I have ever owned, the size is spot on, not too big, not too small. I'm short and skinny, I'm 48 years old but fit a boys 14 pants but sometimes the 14's are a little tight. Very pleased with my purchase.
