Burlington — Local services in Town of Wallkill

After shopping at Middletown NY Burlington for over and hour I needed to use the rest room. To my surprise I found the entry way to the bathrooms roped off and when I asked an employee at the fitting room where is the bathroom, I was told that the store no longer has a bathroom for customers!! Some nerve of this store! But I'm sure they have a restroom for the empoyees! It's the customers spending their money that keep this store in business and give the empoyees a job, but they won't even allow customers to use the restroom. This is totally unacceptable and NOT right to treat customers this way who are spending our hard earned money in this store. Burlington, you want us to spend our money but you won't give customers a rest room??? Sometimes people who take their time and shop will need to go to the bathroom while shopping, especially people of a certain age. I witness a cashier being very rude to a customer who was trying to return something that apparently she couldn't. She said to the customer "oh well you're just going to get a store credit because its 5:31 and I have to go" I genuinely felt like that was rude and I said something to her and said "that's not how you talk to customers" she replied back " I have child care and if I'm late they charge me" and I said I understand but you dont have to be rude to her. Highly disappointed. Once upon a time I would get all my shoes here. They had a great selection of fun styles. I used to get so many compliments on the uniqueness of my shoes. The houseware department used to be neatly set up and displayed in a warm welcome. You wanted to display your home the same way. CURRENTLY it looks like a gigantic flea market/warehouse. Shelves are empty and strewn. I understand shipments are far and few in between right now, but this is just sad. It's a shame. I used to enjoy buying here. Wont step foot into it.
