I’ve been here multiple times hoping the service will get better because the food is decent. Nope and last week was our last time ordering. Had delivery over the summer that was well over an hour on a week night. Forgave that and then decided to pick up the next time. My next visit- After placing an online order and showing up 1/2 hour later was told phones and credit card machines were down so they were working on that problem. Ok did you get my online order? Yes, but still not ready. Now mind you I am there picking up food with two hungry children. So after 20 minutes of waiting I ask for a slice and drink for them to split to hold them over. Food comes out after being there for about 45 minutes, you would think they could’ve at least given us the slice since I wouldn’t have ordered it if my food was ready. Fast forward to last weeks order, last Sunday place order was told 35 minutes for pick up. Show up 40 minutes later and wait 20 more minutes for food to come out. Order 3 adult ravioli dinners (won’t order my children kids ravioli anywhere knowing it’s a small amount) get home my husband opens ravioli and sees each order only has 4 each?!?!? Are you kidding me? $12.95 x 3 for 12 raviolis? My husband had to make a pot of pasta because he and our children were still hungry. Also if your going to constantly have the same young lady at the register ask her to smile once in a while and be a little more friendly. I wish you guys luck because all these reviews are on the service end and I haven’t seen changes, so makes me wonder if you take these into consideration?
Edited to add- Would just like to show what a real ravioli dinner looks like. 8 raviolis with vodka sauce for only $14.50 (with reg red sauce and 8 raviolis they were also $12.95) and they gave both my boys free gingerbread cookies for no reason at the end of dinner. Even though we go out of our way for this restaurant in hopewell we realized we would rather spend gas money for better service and portions. Also I see the review from yesterday and once again see how reviews aren’t making...
Read moreNot happy at all. Went on friday may 25th with my family of 8 for my birthday pizza. Every year we go around and try different pizza restaurants and I always order a large pie with everything on it minus anchovies. We sat down and when ask for drinks we recieved 2 bottles (2 litter sodas) along with small disposable cups. Ok. When asked for ice we got 1 normal plastic typical restaurant cup full of ice for us to divide up into 8 cups. That's just the start. So when asked for what we would like to have I stated what I always order at every pizzeria. I was told they don't have that. I wasn't kinda confused, maybe she didn't hear me. So I said it again. She repeated they don't have that. My family and i explained what was on it which was everything minus anchovies. Again was told to pick my toppings. Again I said ."Everything". If she didnt know the menu or understood the menu one would think to ask the cook or resturant manager or someone about what my request was. Anyway my family ordered 2 other pies. So those pies came out. And from what I saw they liked it. As I sat there drinking my soda out of a disposable cup my father notices me not eating. I stated they apparently don't have what I want. I was then approached and asked again " what was that I wanted" I again said slowly " a large pie with everything on it minus anchovies" and again was told they don't have it. At that point I gave up and called the pizzeria which is in the next plaza over and ordered my pie to have it delivered there. They asked why I was ordering a pie from them to be delivered to another pizzeria. I explained the story and they were dumbfounded that they didn't know what a everything pie was. Long story short. I got my pizza. But...
Read more3 Weeks ago I had picked up an order which included 2 chicken parm slices and a grilled chicken salad(emphasized over the phone to make it GRILLED). It took over 30 minutes to fill which is fine but I expected everything to be in order by the time I picked it up.
Upon retrieving it and bringing it back we discovered the salad was indeed chicken cutlet and not grilled(my relative is on a diet). Then upon eating one of the slices, I discovered it to be quite an old piece of pizza. The crust was stale, the chicken was super chewy and dried out, and the cheese seemed so old it made me feel like it had been out in the display case ALL day. I ALWAYS finish my food even if it's just so-so. I literally could not bring myself to finish either slice.
We called and they said they'd give us a $20 credit which is nice enough but who wants to eat at a place that just grossed them out?? I finally got the gumption to use the credit though yesterday but upon calling was told they have neither my last name NOR my address on their list of people they owe credit to. I was told there was nothing they could do and I hung up and ordered from Longobardi's right behind Nonna's. I am curious if they even gave us the credit or just threw out, what I'm sure is an incredibly long, list after a couple of days.
I've lived in the Wappingers area for 30 years now. I've had great pizza. I've had bad pizza. I don't EVER recall the service at any of the many Italian restaurants being nearly this ridiculous though. I'd avoid this place if you're ordering slices, have special requests or expect...
