Smoothie King — Restaurant in Town of Wappinger

Worst experience today at the drive thru. Bad customer service, condescending attitude from employee at drive thru. I told her from the start my order was just made and I thought it wouldn't be ready yet. I was told there was orders ahead of mine, and it wouldn't be ready for 30 minutes. Ok no problem I asked for a refund. That's when the attitude started from the drive thru employee. Repeating we can make it, she said give me your phone. I thought she was going to see if my order went through. Then she proceeds to go through my phone. No one was in the drive thru, or even inside. So why wasn't I given a refund when I asked? Instead I got a nasty experience, and the manager seemed to it off when I complained. Never again will I spend my money there. I wonder what the company's policy is about asking customers for their personal property and going through their phones. Worst...

I am a big fan of Smoothie King, but there are some concerns with this location. I go through the drive thru regularly and there's a particular employee that does not wear gloves and holds my drink at the top of the cup around the rim. This is completely against the rules of the hospitality industry, especially in the current climate of health safety. The rest of the staff is great and holds the cups at the bottom, not to mention very polite and friendly, so this isn't a reflection on the whole crew. I don't want to stop visiting this location, but I am also concerned about what other health standards that aren't met, since there's no apparent accountability held for this basic safety standard. I hope it is addressed and everyone is held to the same standards as the rest...

I don’t usually post negative reviews but I have had the worst luck with this location. Two separate times I have received the wrong order via Drive Thru. Despite saying my order correctly at the window, I drive away and it’s wrong. Unfortunately I haven’t had time both times to turn around and get it corrected. I didn’t want to make a fuss or complain. Today was just too much. My “Keto Champ” which comes with Almond Milk according to the menu, was most definitely made with regular milk. I usually don’t mention my allergy if there’s no milk in an item, but I guess that’s my mistake for not doing so. However I thought I was getting what I ordered. I had a debilitating reaction. Careless is the word that comes to mind. Please get it...
