There are good restaurants, and there are great restaurants. But then, there are Exceptional restaurants. Hannah’s Cafe is Exceptional for many reasons: great food cooked with love, great friendly staff and awesome customer service. But today, there’s a very special reason Hannah’s stands far above the rest. I order from Hannah’s A LOT, and sometimes I order multiple meals for the day. I’ll order at breakfast time and store my lunch and my dinner in the fridge until later. This allows me to plan my meals for the day from a place that I completely trust. I recently experienced a schedule change at work and my hours are all over the place. Last week I ordered from Hannah’s several meals for several days, back to back to back. I’ve never had an issue with my order being incorrect. A few days ago, a Doordasher told me that Hannah’s forgot my matcha lemonade. I thought it was sketchy because I never had an issue before. I think the Dasher just forgot to get the lemonade and likely didn’t feel like going back to the restaurant. But, I just informed DoorDash that I didn’t get my lemonade, and moved on. I ordered breakfast again today, and I only ordered food. But guess what was included with my order? My matcha lemonade from three days ago, and a heart on my receipt. My hope and prayers for Hannah’s Cafe is that they remain in business for a long time. It’s not common to experience such exceptional service in this day and age. To the awesome staff at Hannah’s Cafe, I am so very thankful for your dedication to providing exceptional food and service. Your hard word is noticed, and it’s very much...

The plastic wear is nicely sealed, individually, and they remembered to include all of the condiments. They did forget to include the French toast, but we got the syrup...
The mozzarella sticks were the worst I've ever had, for real. I don't expect them to NOT be frozen, but they weren't fully cooked through when I got them (you know how you can tell, with the cheese?). Even Burger King and Sonic fry their mozz all the way through, come on...and for almost $9?
The creamy tomato soup was awesome. Still warm, when arrived, and good mix of acidic and sweet. That and the vanilla chai latte were the best, and totally worth their prices.
The grilled cheese was okay, but some may argue it's not worth the price. It was what I expected, and had the simplicity I wanted, though.
Tater tots were okay. Done well, and what you expect tater tots to taste like.
Chicken caesar wrap was good. Not dry.
The turkey rachel was the worst I've ever had. Dry and bad ratio of ingredients. Needed to be toasted better, include more cole slaw, and have less dry turkey, for starters. At $14.70...ya'll,...
Read moreIf the only thing about this restaurant was the food, it would deserve 5 stars hands down. Everything we got over three days (we went three days in a row because it was that good) was delicious: the BLT, flatbread, French toast, avocado toast, bagel sandwich, BREAKFAST BURRITO!!! It was all incredible.
But add in the kindest, most caring service of any restaurant I’ve ever been to (I really mean this), and it takes it from 5 stars to a rating system that doesn’t even exist yet because it’s so high.
Hannah (and her mother, Sue) is doing amazing things at this place. If I lived in Towson (or anywhere in an hour radius), I’d visit at least once a week. And if I did, I’d try something new every single time knowing it would be guaranteed to be delicious.
And if I did that, I would feel like they might even include me in their will, because after three visits we already felt like family. That’s how much love and care they give to every patron.
Bottom line: come here. Get a burrito or a sandwich. Leave full, happy, and feeling...
