POP Boba — Restaurant in Tracy

I love this place! Started coming about three weeks ago and I'm slowly making my way through the menu. The staff is super helpful with their recommendations and explanations of menu items, the drinks are pretty creative and only a few of the items even have actual dairy which is great because I'm lactose intolerant and I love boba 😂 Pop is to the right and Starbread is to the left, they're both owned by the same family and the prices for both are pretty reasonable :) Pictured are 5/6 macarons and #2 and #39 with boba, a custom drink I came up with made with: strawberry milk tea, crushed Oreo pieces, and boba. I’m sorry, I absolutely wish I could have enjoyed this spot due to it being a local small business, but unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience… Maybe someday in the future :”)))

PROS: I could tell there was a lot of love and effort put into the packaging / aesthetic of this brand. I appreciate that!

The drinks were pretty too.

CONS: While waiting in line to order, I waited a good 10 minutes before a cashier came out from the back to help. I felt kind of rude for trying to get someone’s attention :”))

They really should post their menu online. Here are the highlights for me, Mango star jelly. Calamansi juice. Lots of alternative milk options. There's so much to choose from its intimidating. I love it if they did a monthly ranking to see what's most popular. That could be fun! Hopefully they'll be able to get their own building with tables and chairs one day. Oh and make sure to cut the sweetness if you're someone that prefers milder sugar. They do not mess around with...
