We have been talking about trying 4 Sisters Pho restaurant for a very long time now. After reading some of the great reviews, we decided tonight would be the perfect night to try it, and although I technically purchased it this afternoon, we are eating it for dinner.
The little restaurant itself was not open for dining in, which was fine by me, so I cannot offer a personal review about in house experiences, that will have to come at a later date.
We decided to keep it simple while first trying it, we ordered items that we have eaten often in the past at other restaurants, it's a good way to compare since it is so fresh in memory, however, I often find most restaurants have their own flare, although the dish is named or called the same thing.
Phad Thai - Chicken, spicy level was between a one and a five, I chose three for us, we want some spice but nothing we have to chug a lot of liquids to douse the flames.
Chicken Katsu is the other item I ordered for us. For people who do not know what Chicken Katsu is, it is fried chicken with panko bread crumbs and generally, it is sliced into several strips then served with a tonkatsu sauce, which is usually heavenly seasoned ketchup.
The first thing I noticed is the sheer amount of food you get for $24.00, which could probably feed four people, for sure three. Everything looked beautiful. The Katsu Chicken had white rice and a cabbage salad with the dressing on the side, by the way, the cabbage salad dressing was pretty tasty. The tonkatsu sauce was also served on the side, which is good, the chicken needs to keep its crunchy texture, but one small disappointment was there was a single small condiment cup of tonkatsu sauce for a large amount of chicken; I am sorry to say that isn't enough! It isn't a deal-breaker but, fair warning, ask for more! So in my opinion, the only thing lacking in the katsu chicken was more sauce.
This brings me to the Phad Thai; What can I say about this Phad Thai??? Good but not spectacular, and for heat, I ordered a three (the scale was number one is considered not spicy and five equaled spicy) it was not a three, my guess someone probably forgot, it wasn't hot at all.
Their Phad Thai's special sauce, although decent, but not distinctive in flavor, again, the Phad Thai's I have had in the past always had a very distinctive taste to them, full of a variety of flavors. I noticed there were a few peanuts sprinkled on top but I couldn't taste them at all.
I am looking forward to trying them again in the future and choosing something different.
Would I recommend them? Yes! It was satisfactory at a reasonable price plus your supporting a small business.
4 Sisters Pho is located at 1600 NE Roseway Ln, Bremerton WA, it is right across from Fred Meyers off Wheaton Way. 4 Sisters also share a small building with Snap Fitness, at the moment parking isn't an issues but I can see where it maybe post COVID.

Read moreWe were looking to kill time and decided to try 4 Sisters. We read the reviews and picked them because they have a vegan menu. We tried two different items - the tofu noodle salad and the lemongrass tofu rice dish plus the tofu fresh summer rolls. Everything was amazing and large portions! Reasonable prices as well and great service - they came by to refill our water multiple times.
The place isn't anything fancy, but we don't care about that - it's all about the food for us. If you want a fancy place with mediocre overpriced meals then go elsewhere. If you want a mom and pop atmosphere with amazing meals at affordable prices come here.
We will definitely be back often - it's our new date night restaurant of choice! My only caution is if you're vegan, ask for no salad dressing as the default dressing on the salad for the lemongrass tofu is not vegan - but that's an easy fix and they know, but we always like to double and triple check everything as dairy allergies are not fun. Trust me, this place is amazing and you'll be...
Read moreI placed an order to go today. I was stunned to find that the prices increased by 50% since the last time I was there. To make matters worse, at least 2 other seated party's orders were taken and were served first. Then if that wasn't enough, when my order was finally ready, the server handed me the to go container of food, with no utensils, condiments or napkins. She offered utensils as a second thought, but I informed her that I would "figure it out" since I was a bit irritated by the ordeal. As I walked out to my vehicle, I realized that sauce was spilling out of the container and onto my hand. I had to go back in and get a bag to contain the sauce so it wouldn't spill in my vehicle. I used to come here all the time, sometimes twice a week, spending hundreds of dollars a month with them and you would think someone would be like, "Hello again" or "how have you been?". Completely void of customer service now for some reason. It's too bad. I will...
