Sumosushigrill Restaurants in bremerton.
Celiac and Dairy Free focused review (with normal too, just not the focus)
Friendly and attentive staff, minus when dinner rush started... also because with special gluten free menu, you still need to special order like you do at Trappers. I ended up watching everyone around me eat for 10 minutes before anyone came back to let me know about any normal sugar (they had none) and to order my special allergen stuff through a different way than the table QR app.
The robot will still deliver it to you. (Unless hot liquids, smart)
It was clean inside. Cute too. Bremerton needs a space like that.
All you can eat was almost 30 something per person. Good for normal eaters. They need more GF options to make it worth that to me. The only reason I would come here over Trappers is because you can have their buffet all you can eat fried rice here since they don't use soy sauce.
I had a vegetable roll, they use a pickled sweet thing and lettuce, that was new but very good to me
Fried rice was good
Hot tea needed an extra bag (1 was not enough for the ratio of water and suxked no regular sugar and sucked how long i waited)
I got to try the tamagotchi stuff (haha it's the egg thing I forgot the name it made me reminiscent of tamagotchi though!) It was good, can't have that any where else I've seen so far. It was sweet and custard flavor (Not texture. )
He really enjoyed his soup and the cowboy roll and the salmon sashimi.
He agrees worth it only if you want GF fried rice a ton of it, or eating normal. Not good for cost efficacy gluten free wise right now. But I do like that I have it as an option.
The staff were very patient explaining what I could and could not have.
I don't know what people are talking about that it's overhyped or dirty/ made them sick. Like, at all. Maybe don't eat a ton of raw fish when you're not used to it? I just avoid the raw fish all together, then there's no problem.
I will come back. It gets...

Everything we tried was so good! Well-sized portions so you can try lots of things, easy ordering and you can customize every dish in case you have an allergy or different preference. The food arrived quickly, and the kitty robot gimmick is honestly kind of fun. The fried appetizers, korokke and bubble shrimp, were light and delicious, not greasy at all. The sushi rolls were very well made - not too much rice, which is often a problem at ayce places, and very good quality fish. The sashimi was also really, really good, thick cuts and high quality. The appetizer and desser bars are also great and I loved the diy boba tea bar. They also have a really good selection of sake and Japanese beer, so just overall, all bases covered. I'm honestly shocked they don't charge more. One other awesome thing - instead of being judgy if you don't finish everything, they let you take home leftovers and just charge you by the pound. The tray in the photo was our leftovers (my eyes are bigger than my stomach) and it was less than $7 for all of that. I so wish more places would do this so I wouldn't feel like I had to stuff myself to avoid wasting food. Why don't more places do this?? Every ayce place should do this!
We've been to a few other, similarly rated, and more expensive sushi places in the area and were super disappointed at the quality at most of them, so our expectations for this spot weren't super high. Instead of mediocre, overpriced or stale food though, we were treated to some amazing quality sushi, polite and welcoming staff, and just overall a a top tier experience. We've been looking for a regular date night spot, and now we've finally found one. Came away feeling like we'd stolen something given how good everything was and the quantity of everything we got for the money. Go here...

If you know the Tacoma Sumo Sushi, or even if you don't, the Bremerton location outside of Fred Meyer surpasses all expectations. As long as they can maintain the momentum I can see this location quickly becoming the best out of the few existing. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and upbeat. The robotic cat servers are just as creepily cute and sassy as ever. They are accomodating for young children providing booster seat and rolling high chairs that your little one is sure to enjoy launching off the table with. I would knock a star off of service for a lack of changing tables in the restrooms but that's not the staff's fault. But the man who can only be the GM is one of the most hands-on, charismatic people you will ever meet. He could have you walking off a plank smiling and saying thank you if he wanted. A true salesman, but also an integral part into why the atmosphere and service of this location are so welcoming and fun despite the actual restaurant being almost three times the size of the Tacoma location. Prices, like the others, are high. They will run you 32.95 per adult, soft drinks being 2.50 (not bad), kids under 3 eat for free. The lunch hours knock ten off that price. While the price may seem steep at first, there are massive, separate salad, soup, and dessert bars in addition to the fact that it is an all you can eat sushi buffet! The sushi is wonderful, their fried California rolls are crunchy and delicious, the Sumo roll is everything you would want it to be. They have so many sushi options, but they also have tonkatsu (and other) ramen, teriyaki, takoyaki, and so much more. They have a promotion right now that every Saturday from 5pm to 8pm there are free balloon animals and face painting for children. I highly recommend you check them out, even if you have a closer location, this one is...
