Very excited to try Sisters as I love Bo’s next door. The menu did not disappoint. So many things I’d like to come back and try. Still no alcohol but I’m fine with that. Found it strange there was no beverage menu though. I wasn’t sure on what was available so just got a coffee while my dining partner ordered orange juice. Water was on the table. Watching what others were drinking, they may have some unique options about which we were unaware. Pacing by the server was poor. Took a little longer than necessary to greet us. Took even longer to take our order. And then the wait for food was long as well. We watched others seated after us come and go. Yes, it was busy. Yes, it is still new. And yes, we were patient. But if you’re in a rush, wait until the kinks are worked out. (Two diners, Sunday at 9:30 and left at 11:15) My Nola was excellent. Despite the jalapeño in the waffle, the andouille sausage, and the green chili cheese sauce, it did not have heat. It had great flavor though. And it was served hot. My eggs were done to my liking and the hashbrowns were perfectly crisped. The little side of applesauce was delish and more like a compote. There were two tables for groups up to eight. One was used communally. Mix of booths and tables. Comfy chairs. Retro without being kitschy. Can’t wait to see how this place grows!

Stepping into this breakfast spot in Traverse City felt like we had entered a stylish time capsule. The ambiance is a harmonious blend of clean lines, warm tones, and iconic design elements that evoke the elegance of the 1950s and 60s. A standout feature is the stunning light fixture over the bar—a sculptural masterpiece that casts a soft glow, enhancing the atmosphere. The menu offers classic comfort food with inventive twists. From “chrunchy” french toast to savory eggs benny, featuring unexpected ingredients, each dish is thoughtfully prepared and presented. The service is exceptional…attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A highlight of our visit was meeting Lisa, one of the "sisters" behind this establishment. Her passion and warmth added a personal touch that made our experience even more special. Complementing the restaurant, today, was "Fern," a mobile floral business. The presence of Fern, and the ability to make your own bouquet, added a creative, natural element that beautifully contrasted the sleek interior design. This restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it's a destination that offers a unique blend of design, culinary delight, and heartfelt hospitality. A must-visit spot that left a lasting impression.

Really nice looking place, great atmosphere. The food presentation was great. The server that my partner and I had, Jess I believe, ignored us and didn't talk to us until right before our food came out other than taking the food and drink order. Several tables that ordered after us were served about 15-20 minutes before our food came. We ended up packing up our food and leaving as soon as it came out, the waitress still didn't say much but the other waitress that wasn't ours, helped more than ours. I understand things get busy but it felt like a cold shoulder from our waitress because of the dramatic difference in the handling of my table and the rest of her section, checking in regularly, refilling beverages, etc. None of that happened. she offered my partner another cup of coffee AFTER we asked for boxes to go. Not sure if she didn't like gay people or that we weren't dressed like everybody else there but there was something she didn't like about us, it made me uncomfortable so we left before even eating Pictured: biscuits and gravy and french toast
