Food is fine. Service is great. If you’re looking for a cozy, one on one this ain’t the place. it’s more of a bar “let’s mix it up !” type of vibe.

The burger was good. Not great. There was a weird flavor in there I couldn’t pull out. Might have been the patty being a less than premium blend of meats.

Cuban is good. But it’s is not a “Cuban” if you’ve had real cuban sandwiches before. It’s more of a meaty pork sandwhich inspired by a cuban sandwhich and definitely not made by a Cuban. For it to be a real cuban it would need different bread, different seasoning on the pork and be seared on a plancha. The flavors were good. I found them tiring and was sick of the sandwich by bite 4. I enjoyed it for leftovers more the next day. This is one of those sandwiches that I could see many many people enjoying. So don’t let me steer you away from it.

The seating situation is kind of confounding. The outdoor tables are custom made and way too high and the tables are too far from the benches. It’s almost like who ever made them never actually sat at dinner table before and didn’t know people want to crumbs to fall on their plate and not their lap.

There’s one table for a couple that’s comfortable. The others are in the way or in uncomfortable places or uncomfortable. One of them was so comically high in terms of seat to table ratio that I am not joking when I say I am 6 feet tall and the top of the table was above my nipple when I sat down. I thought for a moment it was an art project or a joke.

To sum up. Food is good. Service is good. Tables are bad for 2 people. Great for a big group. If someone drags you here you’ll be fine but I wouldn’t...

We tried to come eat here and were very rudely turned away. A girl said they were expecting a large group of people shortly, 80-100 to be exact, so they weren’t able to allow anyone else in. The sign on the door said open, and everything online said they were open as well. This place isn’t even big enough for that many people. We went to eat somewhere else down the street and when we walked back by there was no sign of any large groups of people. In fact, there were a few people inside eating that were clearly couples that had come in like us. Even if this large group of 100 people was still planning on coming in, we would have had plenty of time to eat and be gone. Unfortunately the place down the street we ate at wasn’t good, so that just made the whole situation worse. We just wanted a good meal before we headed back home from our trip to Troutdale. If this place was going to be closed for the day, why not put up a closed sign and put online that it’s closed? And why only accept some people in and tell others they...

First time here at Bandits bar and grill, I have heard good things about this place from friends that live in the area and have stopped here when driving I84. First impression is cute bar/restaurant, the bartender/waitress was so welcoming and attentive. Ordered a beer and she advised the special of the day. I ordered a cup of the tri tip chili and the grilled chicken sandwich. The chili is really good! I'd defiantly order this again! The grilled chicken sandwich was good, the bun was perfect! The bar has a large outdoor area with tables set up to sit outside, perfect for evening time when the sun goes down but during the day and the sun is out no covering to protect you from the shade. Over hearing others in the bar, they were loving the food. I will say the food is coming out fast. The only negative comment is AC seemed to maybe not working to blow cooler air but still was comfy. I looked at the Facebook page for bar and I can see why people have a good time here from the pictures post on the page. I will...

If you're into drinking I'm sure this is a great place. I got referred to this place by someone local. I'm from out of town, and was hungry. I got the crab cake hush puppies and the salmon burger. The hush puppies were burned. All of them. I ate 2 of them because the parts that weren't burned tasted pretty good. The salmon burger was falling apart from the moment I touched it. Decided to cut it in half and try my luck that way. Overall the burger wasn't bad. It wasn't great either though. I was expecting more flavor. I understood what they were trying to do with the food and I appreciated the thought. Unfortunately the execution was lacking. I tipped generously because my server was also working the bar and greeting people but never forgot about me, so I appreciated it. My biggest suggestion is: consider paring down the menu. Get super good at 2 or 3 things. There may be some incredible food there, but I didn't get any of that. Probably won't be back...

Wow! So refreshing, what a find! In a day and age where restaurants are having to constantly pivot and as a customer we’re expected to lower our expectations and yet pay more, not the case here. We were cheerfully greeted, received excellent top notch service, and the food . . . Fan-freaking- tastic! They smoke their meat in house, we had The Cuban and The Pulled Pork Sandwich both delicious! We especially appreciated they didn’t drench the meat in bbq sauce to hide the flavor of the meat. Server recommended the Tri-tip chili - again, delicious! And one final note - if you’re wondering if you can still get a decent drink for a decent price in this town - um Cha-Ching $$$, if you’re drinking at Bandits you can!!

Jamie was a great bartender, waitress and host! She was the only person working out front and she didn’t skip a beat. I expected a long wait, but she kept moving and taking care of everybody all the while exchanging a few words of conversation. There was a good crowd of people with very few empty seats, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and I think a lot of them knew each other. There’s a couple large screen TVs and some video games. Good selection of beer and a great food menu, I had a difficult time because there were so many things I wanted to try. We had the chicken gizzards as an appetizer and I got the turkey Reuben with tots and my friend got the Dirty Boat. If you’re in Troutdale, stop in.
