CJ Mahoney's Troy — Restaurant in Troy

I went to C J. Mahoney's with my family in 2021. The sign said "please seat yourself " and we sat at a booth. Shortly after a waitress came over yelling "what, you just sit at a dirty booth?" Then she yells "where did this silverware come from?" I'm looking at the table as it was perfectly clean. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and felt like I was in the twilight zone. Apparently the booth had been promised to someone else. Idk how we were supposed to know this. All she had to do is ask us to move and it wouldn't had been a problem. We left without eating and my husband said that he would never go back. A few days later, I called the manager, he apologized and I was under the impression that the problem would be taken care of. Flash forward to 2025. I finally went back with a couple of friends and was shocked to have this waitress again. She was unfriendly as ever, completely ignored us for the most part. The check never came. My friend said "if we left, I don't think she would even notice" (she did seem to pay a lot of attention to the table across from us for some reason) We had to ask another waitress to finally get our check. I'm with my husband and am done...

First, they stole from us. Genuine theft. We won $24 playing Keno and asked the waitress what to do and she said normally you go to the bar but I can take it if you want. We gave her the slips and she came back with $4. We asked about the other $20 and she said go to the bar.

At the bar, the first thing said was “sorry,Keno is not my priority”. Then don’t offer it. Simple. But if you do offer it, offer it. So I explained we won $24 but got $4. The bartender, who is also apparently the manager, said if you give your tickets to the waitress we replay your original ticket. So we used your $20 to play more tickets. Even though we never asked for that.

And then they all looked at each other like no one had any idea what was happening. Dumbfounded by the idea the a customer had questions, was confused, and “we don’t have time to care” wasn’t...
