First time trying this place. I have worked in several gourmet cookie places throughout my time and I love trying new places. I love the concept but to me the cookies are just par and a little overpriced. 4 dollars for a cookie is just a little too much. Also, 1. Everyone loves a freshly baked cookie... who doesn't??? But 2 of my cookies in my 4 pack were undercooked and mushy in the middle. 2. You don't put hot freshly baked cookies in a box and close the lid, the moisture and heat is going to ruin the cookie and it won't properly cool off and set right. 3. The cookies are so warm when you get them, and they are way too soft, when you pick them up to take a bite, they just fall apart. I picked up a cookie from my box tonight and before I could even take a bite, the cookie fell apart in my hand and on to the ground. 4 dollars lost. The only other complaint I have is staff were all working with food and not a single person was wearing a hairnet or hat. This is a health code violation. Plus I watch an employee walk in with 3 other people walked right behind the counter shaking other employees hands, then he started preparing orders and taking them to the table without washing his hands. Another health code violation. Again, overall a good concept, but they need to make some tweaks on their baking and presentation and work on health code violations. I might give this place another try, maybe it...
Read moreThis is more than just a place that serves exquisite cookies. This is a life altering experience. I want you to remember every fond memory that you have experienced and input…a cookie boys cookie in that time. Whether it was your graduation, job promotion, your wedding, or your first child, having a cookie boys cookie would have made that event even more memorable. When I bit into the special edition, red velvet cookie, my tastebuds were on an adventure of mozaïque culinary art. I paused and looked into the horizon…I took a deep breath and a tear trickled along my left eye. I said to myself, “This is the best cookie I have ever eaten in my entire life!”. It was truly serendipitous. I sat in my vehicle reflecting on all the other cookie experience that I had and was ashamed of all the poor, foul, inexcusable choices that I have made when picking up an Oreo, a chips ahoy, or even the sorry excuse of a product that my grandmother makes where I WILLINGLY consumed the bland and chalky hockey puck of a cookie that have shattered all my teeth within my oral cavity. Please, this is not a review, this is a message for you all to start your life today….start living today by having…a cookie...
Read moreI got 2 4packs, they were out of boxes so they were all individually wrapped, no big deal but annoying. The cookies were all overcooked. The edges were so dry and the middle was almost crunchy. The toppings were okay at best. I also ordered a blue raspberry drink...I asked if it was lemonade and the guy said no, when I asked what it was then, he couldn't give me an answer. We'll, I am almost certain it's just blue kool-aid. $6 and I couldn't get past the first few sips. The restroom was like a truck stop bathroom- didn't even use it. There was a roll of toilet paper unraveled on the ground, there was water everywhere and it was filthy. The service was poor, the guy at the counter looked like he would rather have been anywhere else. Didnt even look at us when talking. I will absolutely be keeping my...
