Pokeworks — Restaurant in Troy

The quality of food here has gone way down. I have a favorite dish I like to order here. Large Poke Bowl, 3 proteins and a whole bunch of stuff I like. I decided to have a cheat meal here today and was so excited. Only for the torched fished to be cooked all the way (torched usually means slightly cooked). Today the fish was hard. I asked for cucumbers and they had big cucumber pealing in my dish. (Just the peel) the avocado which is usually ground up nicely, today was a big hard chunk almost like it was raw, just scooped out and plopped in my bowl. There were pieces of burned rice in there.DoorDash doesn’t even refund whole meals. I got back $5 for a meal that was poorly made. Take out is not cheap. I usually get it as a treat and this was nothing close to that. If you want a good poke bowl , go somewhere else. These guys were good once but these days...

Pokeworks is 5/5 no doubt. I've been a regular at this location for the past 6 months and I am satisfied every single visit. From the freshness of the Sushi, to the cleanliness of the store, to the customer service...everything is top notch every single time.

The quality of food is worth the price point. I used to go to Sushi restaurants around the area, wait 2 hours to get half the amount of food for 3 times the price. Made no sense. Ive been to other Poke spots but they skimp on the protein and have much fewer options.

The only feedback I'd like to give is I wish there were more Protein options other than Fish, since there sides are so good I with there were chicken or turkey options to substitute. That'd also help with people who aren't into fish and repeat customers who want to change it...
