Lukich's Family Dining in Troy, Michigan is a fantastic restaurant that offers a wide variety of delicious Polish cuisine. The restaurant's cozy and welcoming atmosphere combined with the friendly staff make it a great place for a family dinner or a night out with friends.

One of the most popular dishes at Lukich's Family Dining is the Super Combo with Sauerkraut, Stuffed Cabbage, Polish Sausage, Pierogi, and Potato Pancakes. This dish is an excellent introduction to traditional Polish cuisine and allows diners to sample some of the restaurant's most popular offerings. The sauerkraut is tangy and pairs perfectly with the savory flavors of the Polish sausage and the stuffed cabbage. The pierogi are stuffed with a variety of delicious fillings, and the potato pancakes are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The combination of flavors and textures in this dish is truly outstanding and is sure to satisfy even the most discerning palate.

Another great dish to try at Lukich's Family Dining is the Lukich's Trio Delight, which comes with one stuffed cabbage, two potato pancakes, and two pierogi. This dish is a slightly smaller portion than the Super Combo, but it is still very filling and provides a great opportunity to try some of the restaurant's most popular dishes. The stuffed cabbage is tender and flavorful, and the potato pancakes are perfectly cooked. The pierogi are also excellent, with a wide variety of filling options to choose from.

In addition to their fantastic main dishes, Lukich's Family Dining also has a delectable dessert menu, and their Pineapple Orange Cake is not to be missed. This moist and flavorful cake is made with fresh pineapple and orange zest, and the creamy icing on top adds the perfect touch of sweetness. It's a refreshing and satisfying way to end your meal at Lukich's Family Dining and is definitely worth saving room for.

The service at Lukich's Family Dining is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who are always willing to help with any questions or concerns. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the overall ambiance is warm...

I have been driving past this place since I moved to Troy and my boyfriend has been driving past since he was a child. We both have never tried it until this past weekend for breakfast. The interior is very outdated, but I adore it. It’s very homey and reminds me of family restaurants from my childhood in the early 90s.

The service is great. The staff is very much the “treat you like family” type.

The food is great and you can tell that everything is homemade with lots of TLC. Not at all spectacular, but it’s very good for a homestyle family restaurant with very reasonable prices. We had breakfast, which was good. Then, tonight we went for dinner. I had the chopped sirloin, my son had the pierogis, and my boyfriend had the chicken parmesan. Yes, we know this is suppose to be a Polish restaurant, but we are very basic and don’t venture too far from what we know. Besides my son, who is Polish so naturally he loves his pierogis.

All in all, we all really like this place. It’s going to be a great addition to our go to...

Small family-owned diners are places that customers looking for a good meal with a good price can never go wrong with. However, as first time visitors, our experience was subpar.

I’ll start with the good first though. Their selection of soups was great, I absolutely loved the dill soup. They provided sliced sandwich bread and crackers on the side. The Reuben was fantastic and I think that it was the best thing we ordered today. The pricing was very reasonable.

On the other hand, my plate of grilled cod (substituted since the perch was unavailable) was mediocre. The fish was chewy and bland, the veggies were slightly over cooked, and the potatoes, although fresh, were bland as well.

The dining room itself was cozy but could use some renovation work. Our waitress was very friendly but seemed overworked and frazzled and even spilled our beverages a tiny bit.

I hope to return again for the (highly-regarded) breakfast and hopefully with a...

Great home-cooked Polish food has been disappearing fast the last 10 years in Detroit but the Lukich family, several generations, is still serving up great breakfast and home-cooked daily specials. Their mushroom-swiss omelets were favorites of my parents for years and Momma Lukich’s delicious orange-pineapple cake is unlike any other desert I have tasted. Tonight I had the polish combo with sausage, cheese-kraut perogi’s, potatoe pancakes and a stuffed cabbage role. Their sauerkraut is housemade, semi-fried and a delicious meal in itself, I add/order it with everything. Lastly, my service has always been great and is evidenced by all the regulars here. Make sure you try this gem while you still can.

Waitress was very nice and personable. Food was amazing!! I took a pic of a variety of perogies that were so good, but forgot to take a pic of my delicious cabbage rolls with mashed potatoes and the tomato gravy....just like gramma used to make!! Would definitely recommend this place for some delicious polish food!! YUM!! 😋
